My favorite Bond. As David Keeling once said about Roger Moore’s version of Bond: “For me he was everything I thought a man could be, everything I thought a gentleman could be and he was the pinnacle of class”.
I was an eight year old kid in the late seventies when my late father took me to see The Spy Who Loved Me in the cinema, the idea of a guy who took no shit with such style and sophistication as (God bless him) Roger Moore was an awakening. He waa my role model from that moment, dress well, have a good 🎉sense of humour and always take what life throws at you with a pinch of salt
Roger was a classic ....nobody does it better than Roger Moore....miss his charming smile. The best....no new Bond whoever they are looking for can match the old school actors.Rip Bond...this franchise is over and have lost lots of fans as its not exciting anymore like the old Bond movies.
You are so right. I grew up in the 1970s and Roger was 'my' Bond. Also, in the 70s, the girls were GORGEOUS. Especially Mary Goodnight and XXX. Growing up, I enjoyed the Sean Connery films, but it is definitely the 70s for me when it comes to Bond. Any other film/actor after that just didn't compare. As for 21st Bond films/Daniel Craig, you can keep them. Far too violent and modern. Bond ended with Roger.❤
First one I saw was moonraker on the big screen.. totally blown away. Always enjoyed every actor in the role but Sir Roger, for me at that time was absolutely brilliant.
Yes indeed, in my opinion Bond's series from the 70's to mid 80's with Moore where the much funniest of the series, Connery was also great, Moore was THE BOND.
Nice. When Roger Moore passed away, I saved an obituary on my computer: 'The man who saved James Bond." Moore took over from Sean in 1973, when 3 different actors had played Bond in 3 back-to-back films. There was a good possibility that Saltzman and Broccoli could have decided that Bond films had run their course, and moved onto other things. ...Fortunately, that didn't happen. Moore's third Bond film was 'The Spy Who Loved Me,' one of the strongest in the entire series. That film, and Moore, established that more than one person could play Bond, and could make people believe it. - if handled well. It happened that I grew up during the Roger Moore era, so I always 'saw' him as Bond. My pet theory is: which ever actor you first see playing Bond - Connery, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan or Craig - that impacts you ('imprints' on you?) and that's who 'The REAL Bond' is, to that observer.
He had a lot of great moments, and I'm happy to give him his number two spot, or even one and a half. Connery was and always will be the first and best Bond.
Totally understand, for most people it’s Sir Sean and I think he’s fantastic. I think the Sir Roger era was incredibly well supported by the villains. I’m already thinking of a Connery tribute. Working out which music to use.
Der Bond mit dem ich aufgewachsen bin. Deshalb ist Sir Roger Moore mein Bond, mein Held. Bester Bond von Ihm 1.The Spy who loved me,2. For your eyes only,3.Live and let die,4.Moonraker,5.Octopussy,6.The man with the golden gun und 7.A view to a kill. Mein Ranking. Thank you Roger Moore
The best!!!!!! And you know what's funny? He was! And he was English. Not Scottish or Irish or Aussie like the other clowns. Craig is also, but he has no sense of comic timing and our recent times in history have made him out to be an emotional loser.
With all due respect but for me Roger Moore was by far the worst Bond. After the athletic and a bit rough around the edges characters of Connery and Lazenby, we got stuck this stiff, over-polite Brit who tried to joke his opponents to death. To me he almost killed the Bond franchise.
My favorite Bond. As David Keeling once said about Roger Moore’s version of Bond: “For me he was everything I thought a man could be, everything I thought a gentleman could be and he was the pinnacle of class”.
Absolutely true!
That sums Roger up

I miss the old style Bond movies they didn't take themselves too seriously unlike the more recent film's
Same here

Totally agree especially with Babs ( who’s queen) at the helm

He is the best James Bond for me❤
First one I saw was moonraker on the big screen.. totally blown away. Always enjoyed every actor in the role but Sir Roger, for me at that time was absolutely brilliant.
I think so as well
That 's 3 of us! Lol
Sir Roger is the man.🍸

Bond 77 , Nobody Does It Better
I had so much great music to choose from courtesy of Mr Moore’s tenure as James Bond. Somehow Bond 77 seemed to perfectly encapsulate his era.
My two favorite Sir Roger Moore Bond films are. " The spy who loved me" and " For your eyes only". I grew up with these films so he's my Bond.
An absolute superstar, on and off screen. Great tribute, well done!
Ah, thanks very much.. genuinely means a lot.
The Bond of my generation. God Bless Roger Moore!!!!
The Absolute Best Bond Ever. R.I.P SIR ROGER MOORE.😢

Fantastico Sir Roger Moore, grande uomo oltre che star!
No One More Smoother Than Roger. He Did It His Way, & Got The Job Done( RIP SIR RM007)😊.
Roger Moor is my top tier James Bond.
The Charisma he brings per scene is honestly amazing.
"I collect memories.."
"Well lets get on with making a few then!" All Time High❤
SIR ROGER MOORE THE BEST JAMES BOND 007 FOR EVER
Sean connery 007 best for ever
On him u can see a killer, a gentleman, and a man with humour😊😊
He made Bond into a more light hearted character, but still the world's best secret agent who beat his enemies.
Great Job. Roger Moore was amazing.
The best Bond ❤
I just love everything about all his Bond movies.
The Best of the Best
Roger was my first action hero :)
An amazing tribute to an amazing man! Thank you
He had a lot of great moments, and I'm happy to give him his number two spot, or even one and a half.
Connery was and always will be the first and best Bond.

@@chriswootton Easy: Matt Monroe's "From Russia With Love".
A great track but I don't want to use any title songs
I guess it was the music of the jump in TSWLM. Nice, that you provide the whole composition! Great film action music.

Roger Moore was James Bond, and James Bond is Roger Moore.

The best with charisma smart reaction
Roger Moore WAS 007.
Could these over and over lol I actually have them on dvd.
No CGI in those days, what you see is what you get. Yes that's real people on top of a plane and falling from them
Roger was a definite “ one- off” smooth, funny and different from the rest.e
He was my best bond also I take no notice of the younger generation picking Daniel Craig Moore movie's had more action
Rip from Roger Moore
Rooger Moore is best Hero of Bond series.///. Afzaal Mahmood sindhu Chak 19 s.b.tehsil kotmomin District Sargodha Pakistan

I’m glad the blue print continued up to Pierce Brosnan
VERY disappointed in Craig’s casting. I know I’m in a minority!
The best!!!!!!

Sir Roger Moore was Absolutely Very Good James Bond But First Position is Always Sean Connery
😎😎7

I never really cared for him as James Bond.
Who was your favourite?
I didn't like him as James Bond for me there was only one =Sean Connery
I’ll do a Sean Connery one for you guys.
Always thought if Roger were female, he’d have looked like Lynda Carter.
WORST BOND EVER!!!
