first rate acting and a highly enjoyable movie plus great dancing. But sadly this only gives a mere hint at what nijinsky must have been like as dancer and man. Yet maybe I over romanticise his memory.
With all due respect, I disagree. I thought he did a great job playing a really difficult role. It's true, he doesn't look exactly like Nijinsky, but he's a wonderful actor, not at all Hollywood. Thank you for commenting, and I hope you enjoyed the video!
@@operaguy1 Fair enough. I found the film online, and as far as I know, it's available on streaming services? I checked on Internet Archive (sometimes you get lucky there with old films), but no luck.

❤❤❤
I’m your biggest fan can I have your autograph please.
[Writes my name in cursive on your forehead] yes
That actor's appearance and demeanor do not evoke Nijinsky. Too Hollywood, fresh and clean and not Russian looking at all.
:::: Sigh :::::

@@oldfashionedgrrl(I said "evoke.") Since this subject matter is very important to me, I will seek out the 1980 film. Do you have a link to that?
