9:20 this is why they are great. it blows my mind that people can be so into rap and that's all they listen to when most rappers these days are all generic. If you want to be a great musician and artist, you need to listen to all genres. DGD is a perfect band to get your feet wet into experimental type styles. The Mars Volta is another. I respect this song so much, because it's the little things they do that make it amazing.

to me this song isn't weird at all. ok, i like weird, really weird...but it just totally fits into the diversity of this band. it's such a beautiful song, the one from dgd i listened to the most. i often shed some tears when tilian reaches those high notes, the harmony in it is really touching - but that's just me.

This is one is interesting, i think the music video almost plays along to the feel of the song, the start is a good trip, really strong powerful highs, but little snippets of something darker, the Jon Mess vocals, then the constant high starts to drop down, signifying the beginning of a bad trip, into the heavy drop off.

I agree with you on this song for the mostpart. I love DGD but Prisoner didn't really hit for me at least at first. It grew on me a little but still not amazing for me. Keep the DGD reactions coming!
Yeah it's the total opposite for me. This song is excellent for me, loved it right away, super mature sound and I think it's the best song on afterburner other than maybe into the sunset just cause I love bilmuri. I'd put this song above all the songs he said he prefers but I'm coming from a different angle.

Lol I know. I explain it at the end. While I love the chorus, I didn’t really care for the verses and bridge as much. So overall it’s not a big enough vibe for me to come back to. Hope that helps clear it up 👍
The guitarist, Will Swan, raps in some of their songs, Eagle vs Crow is one of them.
Also, this is one of their most unique songs, not too many of their other songs really comes close to having this sound.
