A condo building with the footprint of 2 basketball courts can have 100, 2-3 bedroom homes. For the same number of single family homes with gardens, you need roughly 5-10 football fields.

That would be 13 on an acre, but you also need spacing cause it’s not all flat, you need streets and so on. Because of water and rain you may want to spread it out farther than a typical American city lot. 50 units on a 4500 ft2 of land just is unnecessary. It is not meant for family living. No connection to private outdoor space. Does anyone remember how HI handled COVID?

People already live on family to a room in Hawaii and it’s illegal for them to expand the house to accommodate the family. Tell Singapore that their housing model is wrong.

@@Basta11 those are tiny rooms. Right now they are putting 1 McMansion on a plot of land that could fit 6 -8 single family homes with yards.
