Hey Jordan, I’ve said it before but you truly are a craftsman, every aspect of the van is a work of art! Love the wheels and that colour certainly compliments the body colour combination, beautiful done! I would have loved to see it pulling your race car as well, how cool that would have been! Thanks for the video Jordan and hope you have an awesome weekend! Looking forward to the new shop as well.
Totally kickass! Was not sure no the color of the wheels at first, but now that they are on there, and knowing the sign writing will be the same color, its gonna look MINT. Killer work as always!
The kombi looks amazing Jordan a credit to your workmanship, it must be a relief to be finally in the new shed and once everything is in place should make life a lot easier, look forward to the tour video.Cheers Greg
Hey Jordan ...Have appreciated ALL your different videos on ALL your builds as you have shown us you are an expert visionary who can inspire us to do things better or different , sometimes thinking outside the box......We can all build cars that honour the past ,reflect the present and wouldn't look out of place in the future.. On the Radial Flyer and other projects I think you have nailed all of those criteria..WELL DONE my friend and look forward to coming down from Busselton to check out the NEW Workshop Best regards Graham
As a viewer from almost the beginning, it's a melancholy moment saying goodbye to the old shop...But outstanding and exhilarating new beginnings! Oddly, I am empathetically touched and have a sense of pride/investment, like in some silly way I am attached. Maybe I am? This build has been a joy to watch and amazing! Smooth Halibrand style is spot on, and the color is purrfect! Ben, amazing production! Those side engine panels...Yuppers, pure gold! Absolute work of engineering and artistry! Damn, this made me a bit teary (again, you did the same with the Midnight Special)! Sorry to be so wordy, but damn, you and your crew are inspiring! Go Bennetts Customs, keep moving forward!
Its the forward thinking Justin that sets you a part from all the rest mate like rear bumper alignment with the louvers great thinking , great job , well done buddy 😎😎🤘🤘🤘
Hello Jordan, the radial flyer is looking great. I worry about that radiator set up but it’s all a work of art. With you standing beside the VW it looks smaller than I thought they were. Or you’re very tall. Stay safe, take care and I’m looking forward to the new shopoverview.
Hey Bennett! What a year it's been! The way you put content together is very pro, bro. I like that you "go your own way" with design, shapes styles and colors. Looking forward to your new shop, new year, and new projects. Thanks to you and your crew. PS UA-camrs buy f'n merch!
@ International man of mystery, more like it. The Kombi project is technically stunning. I like the color palette and finishes as well. Very old-school German industrial. Brilliant.
Always a massive fan of your work and I do luv your wheel choice and colour is probably perfect, but and there's always a but I can't help thinking that the front wheel n tyre look a little tall, a slightly lower profile tyre would be perfect for me but if the rear of the bus is raised the look will alter so I look forward to that.....fantastic job!
I am in no way shape or form a Volkswagen fan. I truly do love your work. It gives hope for the future share your skills with as many people in person as you possibly can because it is a dying art man.
Looks absolutely awesome! Please treat that AC engine with respect. It must warm up properly before you put a load on it. And for the sake of your health, don't use 100LL
congrats on the new space, moving sux aye. I know your tall but dam you make the bus took tiny ha ha. wheels look bloody killer, I've been trying for a couple of years to find something that I like for mine, I have found but need to be custom made that's a future problem. Wiring looks good like the bulkhead connector for the engine that's sweet. Killer work as always.
love the wheels...I love everything...apart from the louvered decklid..some bits ,during the build I haven't liked, but they have grown on me. i think polished frames in the rear side windows would work ?
Looks incredible mate. :) I love those wheels too and had picked them out earlier this year for my wife's hotrod that I have just started building. But they are no longer available! I wanted 18" ones, but even the 16" are all gone. :(
Love the passion and execution,,,do the big bumpers take away from the scale of it all ? For me a skinnier one would make the difference. First generation Camaro bumper width will make the beautiful louvers stand out . These are the size of a guard rail, a very shiny guard rail. I happen to have a 67 RS and a 57 single cab unrestored all original with 15 k miles on her so I’ll take a look on the size for you if you like. Thanks for the video , merry Christmas and peace on earth and ocean.
So cool to see it coming together! Very recognizable how you got it on the trailer, with the planks and light scraping 😅 Btw, I noticed it has a headliner, is there a video on installing it? Or was it done by someone else?
Where'd you get the engine? I'm really interested in the possibility of purchasing one. I'm looking into engine swapping my '65 Chevy Corvair, and that would be a wicked choice
Looks way cool, well done!! What have you done with the stock steering box? Recoed? That will be the weakest link in going quick ;) I made a rack "n" pinion version for mine.
SWEEEEEEET She’s a real beaut Clark. Seriously Jordan this build series has been amazing from the start, I cannot wait until start-up and the continuation of this project.
Congratulations on the New Shop. Great Update on the VW Van. Looks Great. Hope that you can Hook up with Mike from Cornfield Coustom, when he's in your Area. Would love to see some work together. #STAYSAFE #PHILLYPHILLY 🇺🇸

I think you excel at your craft and I enjoy watching what you create. But for me, with the exception of the rear end, which I really like, everything below the headlights is just wrong for the vehicle. The color and style of the wheels do nothing to enhance the look. It is lowered too much. Something to break up the white would help. Maybe make it a tri-coat or three stage. And yea I know my opinion will not be well received but to each their own. That's why they call it an opinion. : )
Thanks mate! It’s always nice to hear different opinions! I think at this stage once it’s done and final I should win you over. Remember the stance and ride height hasn’t been adjusted yet either
@@bennettscustomsco You may indeed Jordan, I like to think I'm open minded although I'm sure we could find ample arguments to the contrary. It’s stunning a work of art. The tyres look just beautiful ❤
It looks so good on the ground! Cannot wait to see it finished, and especially cannot wait to hear that radial engine come to life!
Can't wait to hear it running.
Awesome work beautiful finish 👍🏼👍🏼
Not so sure about the wheel colour but the sign writing may help .... Can't wait to see more of Her ! ❤😉🙃😎 NZ

It's coming together nicely.
I love the colour of the wheels & the van . It just works

Radial engines- bespoke engineering.
Kinda wish the tires were a lot wider. So skinny! Makes it look kinds weak. Other than that, one kick ass build!

The wheels need a fine maroon pin stripe to tie in the top color
Very correct!
when's startup blog coming? I'm thinking could something like this on my LT46.
Where's the workshop? Still in Dunsbrough?
On disc brakes, why do Americans refer to the ‘disc’ as a ‘rotor’…..then it would surely be rotor brakes ?….considering disc brakes were invented by Lanchester, in England, and called ‘discs’. Nice project by the way. 😁👍🏼
Disc, rotor… tomatoe, tomato! 😂
Absolutely killer machine apart from the elephant in the room……. the YELLOW engine cradle and radiator guard. Paint it black then it will look better?
You need to look at Ron Goodman in Australia and his radial engine 356.

What HP is the motor?
Does it even run?
Bit of plumping and first start up
We call that a beam not an axle, bro.
How do you expect that engine to cool itself? It will look good at the car show but don't take it on any road trips.
I would be very concerned about the ability of those razor blade tyres be able to cope with any sort of performance from your aeroplane engine
Skinny tires leave skinny marks
