To be fair to Liv, Rhea's reign was also like that. Most of her title reign was focused on her w/ the judgement day and her as a focal point on RAW, but not really on any actual championship feuds, her only good title programs were the last two with Nia and Becky, everything before was mostly irrelevant
That’s because they were building her to have a Roman type of championship reign. Two very different circumstances, two completely different performers. Liv literally doesn’t have the physique or persona to convincingly pull off a Rhea style title reign. Nobody will buy her holding that title for a year+ due to physical dominance/ fear. If she is going to have a long title reign, they will need to continue booking her the way that she is now, lots of interference and avoiding confrontation. It works very well for Chelsea Green, not for the world title scene or a dominant champion.

It's pretty clear to me that the Judgement Day with the tag titles is useful to the overall Liv Morgan story but also for a feud with the Creed Brothers leading to them winning it from JD, with Chad Gable at their corner.

This is probably a hot take, but i don't think Roxanne's current reign has been all that great, and I would probably drop her down a tier or 2. She has the same problem that Trick Williams, as well as Nathan and Axiom have, where there's no viable challengers for her in NXT, so they have to bring in main roster midcarders and even women from other companies to feud with her like Jordynne Grace. And that feud was entirely carried by the spectacle of seeing a WWE champion and a TNA champion square off. If you ignore the fact that Jordynne Grace is from TNA, then that feud wasn't all that special. On top of that, we all know that it's gonna be Giulia who takes the title off of Roxanne, and it kinda just feels like they're killing time until she gets here, which unfortunately makes Roxanne look like a glorified transitional champion. Another big problem with this reign is, sadly, Roxanne herself. This current heel character is just not working. I can tell that she's trying, but her character comes off as forced at best and cringey at worst. Everything about her, from her size to her voice to her wrestling style, just doesn't fit the role she's currently in. It's like if you had Rey Mysterio turn heel and tried to portray him as a dominant heel champion. Roxanne is just better suited to being an underdog babyface, and if you're gonna make her a heel, then she should be a weaselly cheater, but instead, they're booking her like Brock Lesnar for some reason. The fact that she beat both Lyra and Jordynne clean is kind of a booking travesty. So yeah, I would only put Roxanne's reign into the good tier at most, and that's really only for the spectacle of seeing a TNA champion on NXT tv and for the anticipation of Giulia, not for Roxanne herself. If we do look at just Roxanne's reign without all the spectacle, then I'd even argue that it should go in the meh category. And for my final hot take of the day, i think Roxanne's reign is a big downgrade from Lyra Valkyria's reign and that Lyra is an overall better wrestler than Roxanne with a higher ceiling and a brighter future. Lyra is who the NXT Women's division should have been built around, not Roxanne.
The NXT division is stackedd, the problem is just that barely any of them have main event momentum at the moment which makes the world titles and tag titles suffer. Hopefully Gallus will turn their attention back to the tag scene now and NQCC too with Tavion Heights as their new member. Outside of them are only Chase U, Nathan and Axiom (who are the champions), Meta-Four who can't compete in tag matches since Noam Dar is kayfabe injured, and my boys Edris and Malik who keep being jobbed out for no good reason.

I think his title run has been better then Cody’s run so far.

LIv´s is not trash here´s my theory. We all questioned why rhea ripley had to relinquish the title for an injury that was similar to other injuries of champions that didnt have to relinquish. She possibly could have gone on to have a record breaking title reign. Liv morgan is a way better heel, as she does a better job of portraying a mischievious nasty heel than a underdog babyface. Meanwhile, Rhea is (A.) too over, and (B.) would make a slightly better face now that they have established her as this dominant force. Being a face will allow her to be that powerhouse female babyface. She is the only that wouldve fit that bill in WWE with enough star power until Jade Cargill joined but that is going to take a minute to take off. They are actually doing a good job of making liv heel that you aren´t supposed to like. Then when Rhea returns, she wouldn´t have ever had to lose the title or credibility but can make a smooth transition into face. This time, Rhea actually has a blood feud. Not only is this a blood feud, but the storyline absolutely involves the title. In short: 1. Great use of rhea´s time off 2. Great heel-face position swap. 3. Creates a blood feud involving Rhea, who had EVERYTHING except a credible blood feud that wasn´t just someone who wanted the title. This means stakes are involved in her future feuds. Yes this is mostly, benefitting Rhea but think of it as a creation of a heel archnemesis.

This is probably a hot take, but i don't think Roxanne's current reign has been all that great, and I would probably drop her down a tier or 2. She has the same problem that Trick Williams, as well as Nathan and Axiom have, where there's no viable challengers for her in NXT, so they have to bring in main roster midcarders and even women from other companies to feud with her like Jordynne Grace. And that feud was entirely carried by the spectacle of seeing a WWE champion and a TNA champion square off. If you ignore the fact that Jordynne Grace is from TNA, then that feud wasn't all that special. On top of that, we all know that it's gonna be Giulia who takes the title off of Roxanne, and it kinda just feels like they're killing time until she gets here, which unfortunately makes Roxanne look like a glorified transitional champion.
Another big problem with this reign is, sadly, Roxanne herself. This current heel character is just not working. I can tell that she's trying, but her character comes off as forced at best and cringey at worst. Everything about her, from her size to her voice to her wrestling style, just doesn't fit the role she's currently in. It's like if you had Rey Mysterio turn heel and tried to portray him as a dominant heel champion. Roxanne is just better suited to being an underdog babyface, and if you're gonna make her a heel, then she should be a weaselly cheater, but instead, they're booking her like Brock Lesnar for some reason. The fact that she beat both Lyra and Jordynne clean is kind of a booking travesty.
So yeah, I would only put Roxanne's reign into the good tier at most, and that's really only for the spectacle of seeing a TNA champion on NXT tv and for the anticipation of Giulia, not for Roxanne herself. If we do look at just Roxanne's reign without all the spectacle, then I'd even argue that it should go in the meh category. And for my final hot take of the day, i think Roxanne's reign is a big downgrade from Lyra Valkyria's reign and that Lyra is an overall better wrestler than Roxanne with a higher ceiling and a brighter future. Lyra is who the NXT Women's division should have been built around, not Roxanne.
This is exactly what I think as well, I couldn't have said it better myself.
The NXT division is stackedd, the problem is just that barely any of them have main event momentum at the moment which makes the world titles and tag titles suffer.
Hopefully Gallus will turn their attention back to the tag scene now and NQCC too with Tavion Heights as their new member. Outside of them are only Chase U, Nathan and Axiom (who are the champions), Meta-Four who can't compete in tag matches since Noam Dar is kayfabe injured, and my boys Edris and Malik who keep being jobbed out for no good reason.
And it was still 10 tines better than lyra's reign. By a huge margin.

Just because Roman had a memorable reign doesn't mean it was the greatest of all time. It is memorable for me because I remember how tired I got with his reign from 2022-2024. It's not really crazy. Oba isn't crying during his promos, and he's not getting carried in his matches. Nobody really has to make Oba look good because he IS good. Oba looks like a champion, and it feels like he's a legitimate champion. He presents an aura that Cody just doesn't have.

LIv´s is not trash here´s my theory.
We all questioned why rhea ripley had to relinquish the title for an injury that was similar to other injuries of champions that didnt have to relinquish. She possibly could have gone on to have a record breaking title reign.
Liv morgan is a way better heel, as she does a better job of portraying a mischievious nasty heel than a underdog babyface. Meanwhile, Rhea is (A.) too over, and (B.) would make a slightly better face now that they have established her as this dominant force. Being a face will allow her to be that powerhouse female babyface. She is the only that wouldve fit that bill in WWE with enough star power until Jade Cargill joined but that is going to take a minute to take off.
They are actually doing a good job of making liv heel that you aren´t supposed to like. Then when Rhea returns, she wouldn´t have ever had to lose the title or credibility but can make a smooth transition into face.
This time, Rhea actually has a blood feud. Not only is this a blood feud, but the storyline absolutely involves the title.
In short:
1. Great use of rhea´s time off
2. Great heel-face position swap.
3. Creates a blood feud involving Rhea, who had EVERYTHING except a credible blood feud that wasn´t just someone who wanted the title. This means stakes are involved in her future feuds.
Yes this is mostly, benefitting Rhea but think of it as a creation of a heel archnemesis.
