A good report about my city, otherwise everyone loves to film the center. The center is excellent, but people are interested in how it is in other areas. We call such areas as sleeping blocks. About fifteen years ago, Kapotnya really was the most terrible area of the city outskirts, drunkards, old soviet buildings, an oil plant nearby. Now there are no such residential areas left in Moscow. Everything has been brought back to normal and you can live in Kapotnya.

I used to live in Kapotnya, it’s the worst part of Moscow because of the ecological problems. You had to notice while being there that there is a big Oil Factory right to the houses, which produces lots of fumes and pollution, people have lots of the diseases and problems with the health after living there for a while. Also there is a huge thermal power plant and a big market (“former Cherkizon” or “Sadovod”) where there is always traffic jam which leads to the bad pollution as well. The smell of the air is awful. To really assess the district you have to live there for a while not just traveling. It’s more about the ecology and your well being rather than about the houses and parks (which are beautiful for sure). Cheers

Moscow looks very similar to Stockholm where I live in terms of cleanliness, orderly, maintenance, amenities, infrastructure, public transport, and civility. The main difference is that the architecture in Stockholm is nicer overall than Moscow and Moscow has more skyscrapers. I’ve been to Moscow and it’s definitely one of the nicest cities in Europe.

Dag Lisa , ik zou je graag de erge zones van mijn hoofdstad Brussel tonen maar dat is onmogelijk .
Ik durf er niet komen omdat het zo gevaarlijk is dat het zelfs een "no go" zone is voor de politiediensten.
De erge zones van Moscou zijn als een wandeling in het park in vergelijking met de westerse erge zones van onze steden.
