Oh btw, I told a friend years ago that a Kato N Scale freight train could pull 200 wagons and he scoffed at the idea. 6 months later he went to a model railway show and came back feeling rather sheepish because he actually saw what I had told him!
Hi Graham, I noticed on this and your other posts that you use a Morley controller instead of a Kato power pack how do you find it all works with unitrack as I am looking at buying a Morley however my full setup is Kato including the soundbox and Turntable do you find the 1 amp output is enough to power such accessories and Do you have any experience using the Kato dc converter for powering your accessories I.e connecting the point switches and on/off sectional track switches? any help or advice would be much appreciated. Hi Craig, I've not used my Morley for a couple of years as I moved home to Canada and haven't gotten around to getting a step-up transformer. When I did use it I was very happy with it and I had no problems with power. That said I used a wall wart for the soundbox. For my money I found the Morley an excellent controller. No it Doesn’t the DCC decoders stops the soundbox reading the back EMF off the motor it works to an extent but you don’t get any braking etc all you get with it is throttle responses I.e idle engine sound, building up revs, full chat then slowing down as mentioned you loose the braking function unless you fit a DCC blanking plug to your loco.
@@killuadre9176 Actually on the line out, a Bluetooth transmitter should be connected and then, pair a tiny cube Bluetooth speaker to the transmitter, then place it on any car behind the locomotive or a nonpowered locomotive that is space-capable to fit the tiny speaker such as an F7 by Athearn blue box or Life Like nonpowered F7 or a Life Like f40ph.

Can you hook a Bluetooth speaker up to that
It has an analog line out so you can hook up to an amp or speaker. Not sure if there are line out to Bluetooth receivers
