Behind SEGA #1, slightly to the right, there is an amazing Tonkotsu restaurant thats family run for over 40 years called Marugo Tonkotsu. Exceptional food, highly recommend it!
I think Tokyo Lens has started using a program with his livestreams that greatly increases the quality. Might be worth asking him about it! The program has a trial. I really like how you present your livestreams because of how you chat. But the visual quality can let you down. I know that’s a UA-cam problem but would be excellent to get clear visuals! 🙂

This is one of my favorite places that you go to when you are on a walking tour. Man that creme brule pan looked so delicious. Can't beat the freshness that Japan provides with their street foods. Should have tried all of the Galaxy Donuts. LOL! Thank you for taking us along John!
I have always felt that the Trafic lights (as bad as they are) are much better in Japan then in Germany ... we have lots of places where you wait 2 minutes and then get ~10 seconds to walk which is sometimes impossible even for a young fit person ... have seen lots of old people who couldn't even cross half till the cars were allowed to go again. You can imagine everyone starting to use their horns because they are all ****
There is also a take away concept here in Australia similar to the KFC in a place called Jackpot (Asian inspired), only the customers pick up their orders from the windows once its ready so there is no contact with the staff. Usually only one person out the front taking orders when there are too many people wishing to order via the touch screens.
it seems that by the time Tourism is allowed back to Japan all the iconic shops in akihabra will be gone. It's already heart breaking that the iconic Sega building is gone :(.

Nice video. Question. Of all that merchandise being sold in Japan, like that cat ball you bought, how much of it is made in Japan. Or is most of the merchandise in Japan imported from places like China. I would think people that visit Japan rather buy made in Japan. Also, how much of Japanese food is imported.
I lived in Japan for over 15 years. I always found it interesting that during the winter almost everyone wears gray or black jackets/coats. Nothing colorful.
Other U/Tubers just walk around silent,showing points of interest but people don’t understand what they are looking at because we don’t understand Japanese,keep on Talking John.
It’s the UA-cam app, they won’t (1) allow me to save a copy on my smartphone and upload after - the app should be able to do this. (2) UA-cam won’t allow better than 720p with the app. I feel like this may change soon, but still in crowded places, the 4G LTE will be weaker. The phone doesn’t have much more it can do but when I started in 2017, it was only 480p live streams! It keeps getting better. Thanks for watching even with the live stream quality.
I'll never understand how Japan still has no laws concerning noise pollution in public areas. Seems like everywhere you go in Tokyo the mood is ruined by some blowhard politician screaming into a megaphone.

At 13.34 in the vending machines at the top there are some bottles and the Cantaloupe flavour drink is excellent.
