Between Nardy’s numerous gratitude for Tyler and Tyler’s genuine happiness for and with him, there’s just too many words and moments to type and comment on with only 40 minutes of footage. Man, its crazy seeing this, especially when Nardwaur mentioned that many people discovered his channel through his first interview with Tyler back in 2011. I was one of those people, if I remember correctly. It's pretty awesome seeing how much Tyler and Nardwuar have both grown in fanbase size, they both deserve it very much.
I love when theres a Tyler interview because like unlike others kinda are just weirded out by Nardwaur Tyler just starts to match his energy and he seems to genuinely being interviewed by him
Watching Tyler through the history of these interviews notice endless music from the side of a vinyl, to knowing whats inside the entire magazine, or on the cover just by memory is kinda insane. It shows me his passion and love for all types of music its kinda insane to me how well versed he is in music as a whole. His music speaks wonders in creativity, this man never ceases to amaze me.
@@RYNO2511 you are right. But a “fan” usually doesn’t remember track listings, Numbers, producers, album art, year published etc on every album they own. an audiophile does. Just ask a fan of *NSYNC what track number bye bye bye was and who produced it…let me know how that goes 😂
@@adamgregory9198 I see what you're saying, my point is that "audiophile" refers to somebody who's enthusiastic about high-fidelity audio, especially audio hardware. Doesn't really have anything to do with music itself.
@@adamgregory9198 Audiophiles are generally strictly all about audio fidelity and audio gear, not album art, producers and other trivia. My father for example is an audiophile and couldn't care less about the aforementioned things, he would only talk about the quality of headphones, preamps and other gear, and generally listen to tracks only because the audio quality is good, not because he actually enjoys the music.
Is that why his own mixes are absolute 🗑️? Lolololo🤡 nothing says audiophile like intentionally producing something with obscene amounts of unpleasant-sounding bass! 😂🤣
I loved Tyler’s music before watching this interview, I’ve got flower boy on vinyl and wanna grab me some Igor or cmiygl soon. This interview is so satisfying to watch man to see the amount of love and knowledge for music Tyler has, especially his favourite genres, is just so damn amazing. I have lived music my whole life and to see artists that are this knowledgeable is so satisfying. It’s great to know I’m not the only one that could nerd out in a record store for hours
I love watching the Tyler ones. No just his humor, but something about seeing somebody so knowledgeable and passionate about his own field is so inspiring. Also was great watching him hype up the store owner, probably made his day.
it's actually insane seeing how much knowledge Tyler has in Hip-hop, like I remember picking up those XXL magazines when I was a kid going to the library but he's got them at his house still in the plastic. he's one of the greatest new generation musical artists due to how much he's studied not just hip hop but damn near all genres. this interview really exposes how much he loves rap/hip hop in general.
Tyler love him or hate him is an artist. He takes everything about music and the culture to heart. If he loves something he doesn’t care if it’s cool or if other people also like it. He loves shit that just makes him think or vibe when he hears it. I’m the same way. There isn’t a genre of music I haven’t heard that I can’t find a certain band that makes it sound good. Jazz, techno, country, death metal, disco, pop I can find a song from all that that makes my head bop and feel good. The reason he embraced nardwuar is because he feels that same passion. One time he asked nardwuar where he got a certain record and he said “it’s from my collection, I think he’s fantastic.” And I remember Tyler just looking at him like “my nigga”.
It's wild to watch the shift in Tyler's persona in interviews over the years. When he was in OF you could very rarely ask him anything because he'd just be trying to mess with the interviewers and shit. Which was hilarious and hella entertaining so it was by no means a bad thing. Now he's mellowed out so much and takes interviews so much more seriously. I think it's just really interesting to see that shift.
i like that tyler's got the same friend circle since he was a teen. like jasper and him were friends since forever and now they both successful adults minding their own business but still supporting one another and being there celebrating each other's wins. it just shows how real their friendship is. its rare and precious. wish all of us had at least one real life long friend.
This is when the internet proves to be the best. It’s what it should be always. I see people from Tyler’s past that are mentioned in the interview commenting in the comment section and all that. It’s beautiful. And of course all great music suggestions and history facts for all the history buffs. Really the full Monty. Can’t say enough about this one Nardy. Always good when it’s Tyler though everyone knows that.
I find it so fascinating to listen to people who really know their music talk about it 💖 So gdmn cool~ Like I always got a weird impression of Tyler but hearing him be so passionate about music is so inspiring.

the feeling watching Nardy and Tyler together is just such a warm one. how Nardwaur lights up listening to Tyler share his music knowledge is so genuine, and the respect that Tyler has for him throughout the years has just been so nice to watch. when he got so excited about Tyler "putting him on the map" was just so pure. Its been really nice to watch Tyler grow as well.

Close your eyes and just listen to the audio between 20:57-21:21, it sounds like you’re on a whole different web page😂😂
Like?? 😏
😭😭😭I couldn't listen to this with a straight face
It's dope seeing artists go through history like this.
Lmao I was just watching your rust videos 😂
If we could get Narwuar on a rust server for 30 minutes it would be history in the making.
Fr
Shots wtf are you doin here lmao
THEY BROUGHT THE GANG BACK TOGETHER 😭😭😭🙏🏾
FR, TYLER IS THE BEST ON NARD'S INTERVIEWS
They’re basically besties
RIGHT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
it’s the besttt 😍
This is the most mature Tyler i've ever seen, he has come a very long way from his 2011 interview
This honestly might be nardwar's best interview. I could listen to Tyler talk about music for hours
Nardwuar and Tyler are both so genuine as people and passionate about their crafts, could have easily sat through like hours of this
There's a reason he's been on 5 times now. These two are national treasures.
Especially when he looked through the magazines and talked to the owner about his collection, so wholesome
ok
Brooop they must be protected at all cost lol they are amazing together
Man, its crazy seeing this, especially when Nardwaur mentioned that many people discovered his channel through his first interview with Tyler back in 2011. I was one of those people, if I remember correctly. It's pretty awesome seeing how much Tyler and Nardwuar have both grown in fanbase size, they both deserve it very much.
nice pfp, soul eater is fantastic.
That’s how I found it
same
then Lil Uzi brought in a new generation of fans haha

I love when theres a Tyler interview because like unlike others kinda are just weirded out by Nardwaur Tyler just starts to match his energy and he seems to genuinely being interviewed by him
Watching Tyler through the history of these interviews notice endless music from the side of a vinyl, to knowing whats inside the entire magazine, or on the cover just by memory is kinda insane. It shows me his passion and love for all types of music its kinda insane to me how well versed he is in music as a whole. His music speaks wonders in creativity, this man never ceases to amaze me.
the dynamic between y'all - feels like im watching two friends hanging out!!
wtf youtube watching nardy
yo editor, u forgot to switch accounts bro 💀💀
Caught UA-cam lacking.
Wtf you doing here 😭
Bro what are y’all doing here
You can always tell when someone is a legit audiophile because they can recall track listings, producers and samples instantly.
Tyler’s a real one.
Audiophile is not the same as just being a fan of music and musicians.
Tyler’s intelligence is beyond normal
I love how Tyler is used to Nardwuar knowing every aspect of his life, and Nardwuar is used to Tyler’s wacky sense of humor
Tyler's catalog of knowledge of music history is very evident in his music, can't wait to see what direction he goes next
He has a certain authenticity many artists lack.
@@Esandeech2 It's the passion for what he does. A relationship with the craft. To a lot of artists it's just a extended hobby.
So hype I didn’t think we would get another interview but I’m here for it. Tyler needs to go down as the artist with the most Nardwuar interviews
I love watching the Tyler ones. No just his humor, but something about seeing somebody so knowledgeable and passionate about his own field is so inspiring. Also was great watching him hype up the store owner, probably made his day.
Yup

it's actually insane seeing how much knowledge Tyler has in Hip-hop, like I remember picking up those XXL magazines when I was a kid going to the library but he's got them at his house still in the plastic. he's one of the greatest new generation musical artists due to how much he's studied not just hip hop but damn near all genres. this interview really exposes how much he loves rap/hip hop in general.
Facts
@yunggg peppa facts
Man, watching tyler just browse all the records and magazines and recount all the history of what he sees is just fascinating, i loved all of it
Tyler love him or hate him is an artist.
Nardwuar has documented Tyler's growth throughout the years it's so amazing. Literally tearing up right now. When Nardwuar thanked him OMG.
I think it's just really interesting to see that shift.
he's grown up so much but you can tell he is still true to himself after all
I think back then he was maybe more in character but now he is more comfortable being authentic and its an interesting shift for sure
its also due to a simple fact, he can talk about his deepest passion - music.
and still messing with them
Agreed, and additionally I think his respect for Nardwuar has grown as well
21:33 “i look crazy i know, i know i look crazy ok. You Like That?!

*HUH?* “ Underrated af! 😂
I love seeing Tyler geek out on music. He truly loves and studies his craft and it shows in his work ❤️ you go Ty!
It's crazy seeing Tyler's growth throughout the years. He's matured so much, but you can tell he's still the same person

I truly love to see the relationship that's built up over the years between you both!
I absolutely love how much of a music nerd Tyler is. He really respects and studies the craft of other musicians
i like that tyler's got the same friend circle since he was a teen. like jasper and him were friends since forever and now they both successful adults minding their own business but still supporting one another and being there celebrating each other's wins. it just shows how real their friendship is. its rare and precious. wish all of us had at least one real life long friend.
He also has the same teenage children fanbase that he had when he was a teen!
@@Brandon-bc5um cope
Tyler walking around the store so intrigued by everything, letting his inner kid out is pretty wholesome
And when nardwuar was telling the camera guy to record the magazine and him not doing it was so fuckin funny
I'd be the same way
This is when the internet proves to be the best.
I find it so fascinating to listen to people who really know their music talk about it 💖 So gdmn cool~
Like I always got a weird impression of Tyler but hearing him be so passionate about music is so inspiring.
Tyler is literally the Tarantino of hip hop, a true devoted fan from day one. Dudes literally an encyclopedia.
Great shout!
His knowledge of music is crazy
so true he's a N.E.R.D.! ;D

Tyler's really a musical savant. I like how he's able to cite tracks along with their track number. Quite impressive tbh how he does it so effortlessly throughout all his Nardwuar interviews.
Time to do a show together. Maybe doing escape rooms where Nardwuar just interviews harder and harder until Tyler escapes.
this is amazing! my favorite interview ever !!!
the feeling watching Nardy and Tyler together is just such a warm one. how Nardwaur lights up listening to Tyler share his music knowledge is so genuine, and the respect that Tyler has for him throughout the years has just been so nice to watch. when he got so excited about Tyler "putting him on the map" was just so pure. Its been really nice to watch Tyler grow as well.

You can tell how much it meant to Nardwuar at the end, he truly feel the appreciation.
Nardwuar would give Tyler his social security code and Tyler would be like
“I forgot that one, thanks man”
with a wow at the start and end
This video is cool and all, but mine are a lot better.
@@kanone_69 dawg I don't mean to disrespect but you are nothing compared to nardwuar
I love the fact these two have real genuine love for each other, shit is dope for the culture
Tyler hit the nail on the head with that iTunes music discovery. I remember in like 03-08 just being able to find the most abstract bands and titles. Miss that shit you didn't have to try hard to find good tunes
i wish they would do something like that for spotify😭
tyler going through the magazines taking about music gave me ASMR

Honestly I've come to the conclusion that he might have a photographic memory because the amount of details he remembers from YEARS ago is insane
He loves it. And he’s always sober.
Think about what you are passionate about, basketball, cars, music. You eat, sleep and breathe it, that is how.

i think its just what interests him so he remembers them
The gangsta grillz stuff he saying, he ain't lying in from ont Canada. My first gangsta grillz cd I ran across has south rappers on it 2006 Paul Wall and a buncha others tip was a fire album used to blast that diving in my green Chrysler neon . That just took me back boy for real.
I remember watching the first interview. Crazy all the change that’s happened for both nard and Tyler since then! Congrats to both
Tyler running up the stairs and Nardwuar's voice in the distance is a whole ass mood.
