Stroopwafel should be eaten warm. Put one over a mug of hot coffee or tea. The caramel will soften and become gooey.

I've had Pocky before. You probably know this but you can get some flavors of Pocky at Wal Mart. A lot cheaper too. Anyway after watching this video, this gives me an idea to do something similar on our next trip down in September. I like the idea of trying a certain type item from every country and reviewing and rating them. Thanks for this video and idea.

In Japan it’s considered disrespectful to spit anything, even gum, out of your mouth so they basically invented a gum that would dissolve and was safe to eat, so that’s how HI CHEW came to be !

This is so fun. You definitely need to do this again.
You could do a whole episode in Japan. (Some items are wrapped in edible wrapping (gelatin wrapped in dissolving (sugar?) wrapping). You don't eat the outer package but can eat the wrapping of the individual pieces)

Problem with Epcot is unless you live in some small town, all of these treats are readily available in your local grocery shops or stores. The trinkets and other items can be found in most dollar stores. I’m Canadian so don’t get me started on how ridiculous the snacks and food items are in the Canadian pavilion. Poutine is a Quebecer street food unheard of outside of Quebec before the late 90s. It’s not Canadian at all. Also I know of no one who likes maple syrup anything 😂

@@pixiedustedphoebe Not that I don’t enjoy it but rather it’s a farce of what countries are really like. Everything is widely available in normal city stores. They need to do better than dollar store items or outdated stereotypes. At least they got the ridiculous pearl spectacle toned down now in the Japan pavilion.

I thought one of the places in the America pavilion had ice cream (maybe the place in front of Regal Eagle on the Italy side)? I got a chuckle at the end of the vlog. Been caught in a sudden monsoon like that many times. Must have taunted Mother Nature too much about not getting rained on and she got even. 🤣☔

Stroopwafels are so good. They’re a popular street food in Amsterdam. They’re made fresh when you order them. If ever visit, you need to try them the right way. 👌😉

There should be a warning on the chocolate covered coffee beans. I ate 4 at once. And almost instantly regretted it. My heart was racing. It was way too much caffeine at once. Needless to say. I didn’t sleep that night.

I would say. Start slow. I ate one on the weekend and was wired. Cleaned my entire place. Decided to groom my doodle. 🤦♀️ I couldn’t sit still. I even started doing jumping jacks to try and get some of my energy out.
I checked online and it said you can eat 33 in a day safely. Don’t do that!! Or I suggest you don’t. Better safe then sorry 😊
