I liked this reveal because I enjoyed seeing how you explained everything to the owner. Your level of professionalism is way above any installer I’ve ever seen.
These 5 videos really show how much time and attention you guys spend on these installs versus the 'quick' 20m ones. Love them all the same, keep it up guys!
you guys always do such quality work..amazing ..earlier in the year I was going to drive to FL .. ( to visit family) ..I was going to drive an extra 200 miles and have you do an upgrade install.. but had car troubles and tornado troubles :)

@@Bacnow no. I know how to do installs but not to the extent as these guys. I was being lazy and had a shop do it and the work was mediocre. Left shavings inside, drilled through the firewall and didn't put a grommet between, wires wasnt tighty to my specifications...The end of the day I had to go behind him to do the stuff he missed. My bad for being lazy and not wanting to do the actual work. Plus I only had the car for 4 days before I put the music in, so my mind was (you break, you buy.)

I am literally blown away by your car stereo installation videos on this Accord. I have a 2020 Honda Accord Touring and would like to upgrade my stereo some day. It only has 190 miles on it. I never knew how complicated and complex the installation is. I am really interested in having you install a stereo system in my car.

Another DSP(a basic one) is Dual BEQ25BT at $50 from Crutchfield.No time alignment but 2 in 6 out,bluetooth control with App.High and low level input,7 band eq and streaming capable.Supposed to eliminated turn on/off bump with remote turn on.Wired sub controller too.Dual Smart App.Thought I would let you know.Marine version available I hear.
This install deserve special custom decals to go on each speaker grill with the 5star premium sound logo on them. That bass knob looks like it was made for it..Great job fellas. I' m out here in Riverside Califas. I want Dean&Fernando to do a 911 rescue on my 07 Silverado...

Just picked up an Accord a few weeks ago, and these videos (series) got recommend.
Holy @%!*...last time I did a sound system was 1997, didn't bother on my last car, purchased in 2004...car audio has changed a lot.
Definitely enjoyed watching, but some of the tech involved now is crazy.
It is so rare these days to see someone going to that level of detail and not settling for "good enough". it is only possible if you have a real passion for your profession. I am sure that car's owner will be as satisfied with his stereo as I am with mine.

I did the speaker cup idea on my car. Makes it super easy to take out my sub when extra space is needed.

why not for a removable install, like this sub woofer, use a locking connector to keep from accidentally knocking it loose?
Speakon-Neutrik for example. a little more expensive than what you did, but throwing a bag into the trunk wont knock them loose.

How much for the system instal on the accord
Very nice install! One question though, how is the subwoofer box secured to the car? I have the same cargo tray in my trunk and would like the sub box to be easily removable, yet very secure.

Kind of bummed. I sent an e-mail to you guys 3 weeks ago requesting a quote to have my 2019 Accord Sport worked on. Haven't heard anything back yet. I'm looking at getting a similar setup, and am wondering what the cost is if I had your knowledgeable team work on it? My accord sport only has 8 speakers, and the factory sound is terrible. Please advise. I live in Michigan, but am willing to make the trip, since I know you guys do excellent work. If not, do you know of any reputable car audio shops in Michigan or the surrounding states that I can trust to work on my car? Thanks in advance!
Its awesome. Is it possible to upgrade 2019 honda accord lx radio (7 inch non-touch display) which does not have android auto or carplay with higher trim touch screen display (8 inch display) with navigation and carplay ?

Question about tuning - have you guys used REW to tune before or do you find standard pink noise tuning to be just as effective?

I have a buick lacrosse 2010 radio gone bad I can't get an installer to replace the radio with aftermarket they said nobody makes a kit for it what do you suggest

I want to insrall 2 set of jbl stadiums 6x8 & remove da kickers cs components woofer from da front can I keep da crossovers & tweeters or just tweeters, add with da jbl stadium speaker in da front or would it change da ohms resistance frm 2ohm by adding da tweeters or is not needed..??? Keep up da grt. vids..!!!

Adding tweeters to a mid is not going to change impedance because they don't operate in the same frequency range. If those JBLs are coaxial then running them behind a crossover is essentially like disabling their built in tweeters. But everything you described sounds like a bad idea to start with. Get a component set that you think sounds good and install all parts of it, they work well together and a lot of engineering goes into making it so. You can hobble together different parts and they can work, but almost never with great results.

It would have been so much cooler if you used the new SMD magnetic sub connectors.
Those are $125-150 a piece and have to be ordered. I think they only install products they sell or the customer already has.
Dean explained it in someone else's comment. It would have been hard to disconnect it. Where they installed it.

SMD just started making magnetic sub terminals cups in a variety of colors
Have you seen the strength of those things? It would rip the interior panel out just trying to unplug it
Exactly. That SMD piece needs to be bolted down to MDF or sheet metal. Not some flimsy cardboard with a piece of rug on it. Which most of these panels are made of.
You analyzed the front door speaker signal but you did not show if the front door tweeters have their own channel with their own frequencies or are they on the same channel as the door speakers. One more thing, I don’t know why you car stereo installers focus on time alignment, that is a very poor feature, when you focus on the driver the rest of the seat positions sound horrible and the power output on the amp diminishes. I’m the type of guy that likes to be heard, this does not amplify the sound outside the car.
My kid is over 6 ft tall with size 12 shoes. Under seat amp is a no go.
No offense but it sounds like your son needs his own car already. I have two four door cars and when my daughter drives, I sit in the front passenger seat. My wife who is 5'2", barely fits behind either one of us. So I understand where you're coming from.
Nine months later... Also the rear headroom in this Accord model really isn't that great - so he probably wouldn't fit anyway.
Nobody around here does this level of installation. Nobody. All they want to do is cram a few metric tons of subwoofer in your vehicle. I doubt very seriously they even know how to tune much less actually do it.

These guys are pretty good so figure $120-150/hr. Prob. a discount flat rate for a head unit or door speakers, etc.
