Love the reviews, thanks so much! Was thrilled to see this latest updated review. My current battery trimmer was a discontinued Dewalt 40v.very powerful with a few 6 amp Hour batteries. Frustrating that dewalt no longer even makes any tools with this whole battery system. So expensive. Are you still using the original ap300s batteries from 4 years ago? If so, are you still getting decent runtime? If not, when did you drop them from your rotation. Right now stihl has a promo in the mid Atlantic area for the unit, charger and 2 ap300s batteries for 819. Seems like a good deal. They also have buy 2 get one free ap300s batts at my local dealer. Thanks again for the latest review!!!
I’ve bought the gas 200, it’s a beast. I’ve got meter and half of grass and bushes, on setting one with 500s battery it ploughs through it. As said it’s not cheap but my god so much easier.
just bought one and 2 big con is weight and battery life ,also its not ecnomical to run if you consider the battery+charger investment.but other than that its pretty good machine .
I want to know how long the battery will last not in run time but how long they continue to charge and how expensive it is to replace as batteries always need replacing eventually
I have the FSA135 over 3 years, not in this configuration but in bicycle configuration. I seldom use it with weed line very much I use it with mulching blades in a tall grass and shrubs so far never have a problem, just the batteries not last long on a charge, I have and try all from AP200 to AP500S. My personal feeling, the battery technology isn't up to this great machine and exactly the same goes for the MSA300 chainsaw witch I also have.
Great review. Far and balanced pros/cons. Thanks for your video!!!

Not helpful but I'm across the pond in Spain, moved there from England about twenty five years ago.
