Specifically I miss the Jake era. I’ve seen them twice with James and twice with Jake and all 4 times were absolutely amazing but the shows with Jake are both top 5 in the 350+ shows I’ve been to in my 28 years lol
I love OAA, but Onsra sounds disastrous, I'm not saying it's the singer's fault, they should simply make songs that the vocalist can sing live and feel comfortable doing it, he is the third vocalist that goes through the band and none of them can sing the songs they recorded (I don't know how) in the studio...
It's hard if you're gassed and you're pushing too hard or overthinking the approach. if you want to sing those high notes live you have to be very relaxed, almost sing like you're holding your breath, you don't let out much air to sing high like that and it doesn't have to be overly projected, just required good breath support with a strong diagram and keeping a consistent very minimal airflow for it to not be strained and the high notes to come out with ease. just don't go too hard with the songs prior on the set-list. hansha should be anywhere between 1-3 songs in.
In Jake’s (OAA’s singer at the time of its release for those who don’t know) channel, he made a video and admitted that when they made the song, they were going for a great studio song, not thinking about how hard it would be to perform in a live setting. Nonetheless, one of my fave songs from the band.
@@NathanielBTM Fr. Hansha is vocal athlete's song. lol Jake went nuts in the studio not knowing he has to do it in hour long live sets. Great song great composition but you would need someone like Markus Vik from Invent Animate who's disciplined in tenor mixed voice to nail it live.
Hansha é quase impossível de cantar ao vivo, tem muita transição da voz gritada para a voz de cabeça, mas ele se saiu muito bem, melhor que o Jake ao vivo que foi um desastre!
I think it's breathe work. He's so used to the breathing for his lows and highs, but the singing takes more control. A good bit of practice and he would be solid
@@DINOSAURIA92 It's achievable live... he just needs to improve and adjust his technique more for a live setting. same for hansha. It's very doable live. im a deathcore guy through and through but the vocal style doesn't fit the oceans ate alaska vibe, it's not bad but it's not oceans ate alaska lol, even jake was closer fitting to the sound. that's without mentioning the cleans here...
These are the best Hansha & Escapist live performances they've ever done
That's not a high bar lol
this vocalist is amazing, i guarantee he'll be more consistent with studio releases the more they play live and callous his technique further
Best crack at Hansha I’ve seen an OAA vocalist have in a while while still doing those brutal lows
dzięki za upload ✌️
Miss the old ocean ate alaska 😞😞😞😞
Me too 😢

he cant sing clean, sounds like shit to me.
Onsra es de los mejores temas que tiene la banda

Why do OAA insist on writing songs that are so high vocally. Onsra chorus sounded so so bad. Such a shame.
it wasnt written by Joel and now he has to sing it because its a popular single
@geo845 onsra is their latest single dude! They have consistently written for the studio over what's achievable live.

Nah OAA lowkey has always sucked live. They are 💯 a studio band
The new vocalist can't handle high song like hansha on chorus

it's like putting the black tongue vocalist in benzaiten.
Dude needs to adapt his own vocal performances to suit his abilities
hansha was awful lol
It’s almost an impossible song to sing live. He had the best crack I’ve seen live for a while from an OAA vocalist
