@@xZet go find a pipeliner that needs a helper and start gaining experience, gaining contacts and saving money. Buy you a welder and all the essential tools you'll need and bust out. It won't be easy but itll be worth it if this is your dream.

Hey when you're downhill welding why dont you feather your starts and stops? Are you just burning hot enough you know youll get a proper tie-in. Lots of the pipeline jobs well all uphill welding jobs it was mandatory to feather your stops back to get a smooth tie-in and its stressed on the downhill jobs too sometimes if im just repositioning on a downhill and its only be a second or two the arc is out I keep on trucking but if its been 5-10seconds and the weld has cooled i've always given it a little feather edge to tie back into.
No shoring in that deep ditch.....🤔🤔 no thanks...... seen 1 accident to many with deep ditch, not shelfed or stepped back and the walls caved in..... be safe
