The pie turns out very beautiful, lush and tasty. Creamy dough on sour cream, apple, caramel-nut crunchy filling inside and on top. A wonderful dessert that can be served both on the festive table and at the usual family tea party. We need:
Apple pie with walnuts
Dough:
Butter 82% - 100g
Sugar - 120g
Egg - 3pcs
Sour cream 30% - 200g
Flour - 250g
Soda - 3g
Baking Powder - 5g
Salt - 1 pinch
Nut topping:
Walnuts - 150g
Cane sugar - 70g
Cinnamon - 1 tsp
Apples - 350g (peeled)
All ingredients must be at room temperature!
In a bowl, combine chopped walnuts, cane sugar and cinnamon, mix.
In a bowl, combine the butter and sugar, beat with a mixer until a light mass forms. Continuing to beat, add one egg at a time. Add sour cream, beat until smooth.
Add soda, baking powder and salt to the flour, sift into the resulting mixture, beat with a mixer (a few seconds!).
Peel apples and cut into thin slices.
Line the bottom of the mold (d=22cm) with parchment paper. Pour in half of the batter and spread evenly across the bottom of the pan. Then put half of the prepared apples on the dough, sprinkle with half the nut topping. Then lay out the remaining dough, apples and the final layer of nut topping.
Bake at 170C for about 80 minutes.
Check the readiness with a wooden skewer, it should come out completely dry.
You can serve the pie warm with ice cream or just completely cold.
Over time, the pie becomes more moist.
