Just wanna say thank u so much for all your highlights that's y I subscribed...i was born and raised I Arkansas but been in South Carolina the last 20 yrs so this me a lifeline back home
This team was ranked as the 17th best of all NCAA teams by an elite ranking NCAA group. I call bull shit on that. I have this NCAA team as one of THE FIVE best ever!!! Superstar (Williamson), athleticism, pure shooters, depth, tenacity and coach.
Pretty much everybody came back in 1995 and they lost to a better UCLA team. UNC went back to back in the 1990's, Duke went back to back in the 1990's. UNLV didn't. Arkansas didn't. Best ever? No. Great team? yes. I was a freshman at the University of Arkansas in 1993...
@@bentonja668 I have to respectfully disagree with you on a couple points with a couple reasons. UCLA beat us by 11 in Seattle and at that time the press called it a drubbing (not) given style of play. Most teams of UCLA's stature are going to have a very high winning percentage when they play 85% of there entire schedule within 100 miles of their campus. Look at the venues! That year Arkansas went to Hawaii and won that tourney during Xmas break. Compare the traveling and opponents between the two teams for the entire year. Competition is much different too, especially given the time period. SEC > PAC during that time. Check me... I'm correct about that! Wish they could've had a best of three playoff. Hogs win in my mind!!!
@@bentonja668 Not to mention UCLA won in 1995 without Tyus Edney who was their second best player. This was a very good Arkansas team....but, it didn't have NBA Star power....they were a great TEAM that played well together, but like, you, I wouldn't put them in the top 10 all-time.
I don't recall Scotty Thurman being ejected. I wonder what happened. The announcers made a comment about him talking to the Georgetown bench after making that 3 at the start of the video.
The only Hog team that made it hard to pick a favorite player.
Man that 94 Hog team was loaded

Man I always wondered if the above the rim movie the ending was real when the dude was playing for Georgetown
Glad to be a member WAR!!!

they had a fight, both benches cleared, and he and the guy he was scrapping with got ejected.
thanks for the details
@@dmeroney That was before they would kick everybody who left the bench out.
Iverson?
+guitarbob63 His first year was the 94-95 season. This was the 93-94 season.
