It's good to see some of the northwest - in spite of the rain. I could really relate when you said that a day out is a good day shopping! There's something very satisfying about being able to do all your necessary shopping in one small area. I like to do that also.
For me it's about finding the quality of food... Local, sustainable etc. Sometimes you have to go out of your way... So when you find a market that does all that its joy! 😁.... Lots more of the North west6to come... Especially when this rain stops! ☔😂

Garstang is good for shops, if you like smoked food, go down the Glasson arm and visit the smokehouse at the far end, handy bus there as well.
