People seem to miss the entire point of fashion. Fashion is a medium through which we express ourselves, just like any other art form. Art has a covert purpose that many do not see, and an important one at that. The purpose of art in society is the interconnection between cultures, countries, human relations and so on. Perhaps one has made a friend through music, through cooking or through a mutual appreciation of a painting, or one may meet the love of their life through an admiration of the shirt that they were wearing. It is this purpose that is of no physical utility, unlike a car or a phone, that unites us as humans. The price one is willing to pay for art is entirely based on what they are willing to pay for that connection to themselves and others that brings them joy.

Jerry is a fashion designer and does a lot of partnerships. People just hate to hate, and especially because he's Black and a lot of people hate to see a Black man winning.
