SSAA, a cappella
“The seed of the Prophet shall sit the throne and drown in flame the mountains of man”.
It...is...finished.
There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.
Would you kindly.....
No...im both
A Man choose. A Slave Obey
Columbia would be proud.
lustig :D
Would if they could ;)
Thats how I found this :)
She is, she is...
Wow…the way the trio’s voices blend in the beginning is absolutely stunning! The choir blends beautifully, and they look so happy while they are singing!
Well, yes. The "happy" look is part of the performance. It wouldn't do well to have them with a sour puss going on. That being said, singing should be fun, and create smiles.
That first soloist: you rock girl!
I hated it and it ruined the whole song for me
@@Stowneyo it was cringe
I'm singing this in my school's women's choir this year and I love it!
how was it?
Crystal Baum me too :)
Me too
I was singing this for Purdue in mens choir a couple weeks ago
That last soloist sliding up at the end is so killer. Awesome performance.
my high school choir director showed us this video when the day he handed out the song... I am so excited to do this bc all throughout this song I had chills and I can't wait to give that feeling to someone else
tess rzeszutko dame here. My high school choir director should us this video the day she handed out the song to us girls and we had the same reaction
Can’t wait to sing this song. We are singing this song for contest and such
"Booker catch!"
"much appreciated"
"Is it someone new?"
The Angel's surely cried when they heard this version. Just look at the faces of the ladies singing, they are happy.
This girls have some soulful voices
I sang this in 2015 with my high school choir’s advanced women’s chorus. It became “our” song to the point that we insisted on performing it again two years later when we graduated. I remember getting tears in my eyes while competing, and even now, it still makes me misty.
Mamam, you read your comments, and others about tears, chills ect,? the average song doesnt make a person feel that way, This song is old, its stood the test of time, its got meaning, people are moved by it, it says alot. God Bless You
"Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt!"
I was blessed with the opportunity to perform in this choir with these amazing girls so many years ago (I'm the one with the glasses and bangs trying not to screw up the clapping around 3:18-3:20). In regards to "wrong lyrics", the sheet music we were given had those lyrics on them so that's what we sang. I've also played BioShock Infinite so hearing this song again was a fun crossover and I enjoyed reading all of your comments. I'm glad we gave many of you an entertaining performance!
I see you!
Same here
I performed in the Wisconsin state honors treble choir this past year and it was the greatest experience of my life!
This adds so much meaning to this meaningful song. The first soloist is incredible, the other two are excellent.
What a privilege to work with these talented young women in 2012! As you can hear, they can really sing! Dr. Edith Copley
"doctor" 😂
The three soloists were amazing!!
I love this version, because it is inspiration to the living to build something worthwhile.
The original is a phenomenal "wake" song, but songs like this are necessary too.
I’m here for Elizabeth!
Awesome job! Hope these soloists are still singing! :-)
My choir was supposed to sing this in the spring. This made me cry. I miss choir so much😭
i miss Elizabeth...
Don't we all?
God only knows what we'd do without her.
Nathaniel Easter sorry for spoilers but she dies art the end of burial at sea episode 2
No this is not video games, but worship to Israel God
Me too. 😔
Makes me a bit nostalgic for my own A Capella choir days. I loathed high school but choir was one of the few good parts.
Great sound, great song choice. Beautiful.
I'm not crying, you're crying
No the baby in the audience is crying lol
Ascension. ..Ascension. ...hallelujah
So happy to see southern Baptist culture make its way all the way North and still be traditional. You ladies did awesome.
Glory hallelujah!
Working at home on my computer and the melody to this song came into my head for no reason. This is the first version that came up. It's nice. I was hoping to hear some instruments, but this satisfied my need to hear the song. Thank you for posting!
Excuse me, where am i?
Heaven friend. Or as close as we'll see Judgment Day
This song means so much to me 💜
This popped up again so I had to watch and listen. Complete excellence. I still think that the first soloist is stunning.
That was.... Amazing omg they have amazing voices and the HARMONY the harmony was everything this gave me life xD
I’m singing the same song for my chorus concert and it sounded AMAZINGGG
omg, Im in choir n we sing this song at the NDSU in fargo.. now we're singing it in our choir concert next monday..
Whoa. Didn't expect to see this comment- I went to NDSU too
the last note was everything
The soprano singing “sky” at the end was the best part
this was one of the first songs i ever sang in a choir and you guys really did it justice. makes me tear up every time! amazing work :)
Here because of “Iron Jawed Angels” (2004, HBO). Great movie. And lovely rendition here!
JUST watched it and looked the song up because of it's power
The last solo gave me chills, my GOODNESS
we are going to do this as a full choir and I'm so excited, she used this video to show us the song and fell in love with it right away
So Beautiful, I have no more words.
This is beautiful. You all look so into the song and I can just see the praises to God. It's beautiful. Please, continue to sing to Him
We're singing this at UWEC in Women's Chorus...loving this song every time I hear it!
This song makes me proud to be a woman
Man that was GOOD!
There was a scene in a movie I watched in school in which this song was used, and I was in tears. I absolutely love this song.
chills
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Phenomenal job!!! I performed this with a choir here in Western NC.
Wow..!!! Love this…!!! And love the love in this..! ❤❤❤
There is always a lighthouse!!
Loved this song when I did it in HS choir and somehow managed to love it even more when I finally got into Bioshock
Whoever the Soloist is to the far left, we carry the entire song and two others by herself. I could see her having an amazing career as a studio vocalist. With her name showing up on hundreds of albums. Some of the greatest vocalists are not the ones who have their names on the front of the album but are on the back. She is the definition of pure talent. Even when her fellow soloist went off key slightly she followed right along
Well this breaks up the quarantine blues. Beautiful!!
My Chorus is doing this great song this spring. I can't begin to tell you how much I LOVE your group. From the Solo/Trio to the full group and the choreography. I can't wait to adapt our SATB version to this one! BRAVI TUTTI! SOLOISTS...SO WONDERFUL!!!! I can't stop listening!
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! The way this is performed makes the sun shine in my heart!!!
I love this song, great performance!
I am imagining this with a bioshock movie trailer. One day:)
