    I’m finally visiting Japan on a solo trip after years of anticipation. Today, I was walking back to my hotel in Shibuya to rewatch this video to make sure I got all the right places, and then I ran into Paolo the man himself!!! I’m still mind-blown! GREAT VIDEO!

      Glad you got to meet Paolo. If I ever get to visit Tokyo someday; I hope to meet Paolo myself because his videos are so informative on the best places for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Tokyo. Visiting Tokyo is a dream of mine because it seems like no matter where you go in Tokyo; there's history around every corner. The earthquake and fire of 1923 along with World War II changed much of Tokyo; but in some ways the city has managed to remain the same before those tragic times.

    I guess it's because it isn't in your area of interest, but you missed one type of thing that is a must-see (for music lovers) that visit Shibuya: the music halls. Shibuya has some great music venues (though most are small in capacity by Western standards) that have shows going on almost every night. Tsutaya O-East, Tsutaya 0-West, Eggman, Cyclone, Quattro, and a bunch of others. The music scene is really strong in Japan, and you can see some amazing bands if you try.

    Love the style of your video. Subscribed! We're gonna be heading to Japan in April so I'm excited. Just trying to see the best places to visit in Tokyo (and Osaka) since we're only there for about a week. I definitely want to check out Niku Yokocho.

    Everytime I hear Shibuya always Reminds me of that TikTok song
    Edit: the OG song is "Chanel" from Frank Ocean, but the tik tok version Is called, "American boy, but Shibuya is there too"
    And no I'm not a tik tok user, just love the music

    This so coool!! Please also share how to get around Shinjuku? And may i know if it's okay to use drone in Tokyo so we can capture everything? Thank you! :)

    • @PaolofromTOKYO
      @PaolofromTOKYO  6 років тому

      Hi Michelle, Shinjuku is on the list of my videos so hopefully you'll be seeing that soon. Just takes time to film all the locations and edit the video. Flying drones in Tokyo is prohibited. I usually go out of the city to fly it. Here's the first time I flew my drone outside of Tokyo. ua-cam.com/video/30nr5_CzqBg/v-deo.html

      Paolo fromTOKYO thank you for this. I've been watching tokyo video vlog in youtube and realized they were filming it using a drone. How is that possible? Anyway i hope you can share the link regarding your video around Shinjuku. :)

    • @zam023
      @zam023 6 років тому

      Like Paolo said, Tokyo is a no fly zone for drones. I heard that you could get deported if you are caught flying a drone within Tokyo city limits.
