Pro tip duncan. The "Failure/Success" chance choice cards is not random, you can follow the card as it is mixed. E.G. If the card you are following goes onto the top, follow where it comes out. It's not random, contrary to popular belief.

It really is a great game, I've played since the alpha... super addictive, and I have dozens of hours logged.
When he said "it's a card game" I thought to myself, "oh, well if I want a card game I'll stick to Turps' God Tier Misplays," and was about to switch to something else, then he said that other stuff and ended with "just keep watching, you'll see." So I did, and enjoyed it. XD Duncan has some foresight. XP

Relchemy Rex I've seen from someone else's Let's Play (Deceased Crab) that there are indeed subtitles. It would be nice to have them activated.
Dylan Tomlinson The writing and voice acting are actually really good for that guy, and without spoiling anything I'll say that there's a surprisingly interesting story with him that unfolds as you play.

The card thing is not random! Look at the failure cards when it blends. Then you'll see what's what. Well that depends if you're smart enough but it's quite possible.

Are the weaker equipment pieces discarded immediately? If not, why not sell them at the Tinker's?
No they remain in the inventory, Duncan just doesn't know or care.
***** Yes there is, look at 4:02, 'But Items', 'Sell Items', 'Buy Food'.
You can sell everything, but at different prices. Like the travelling mage would pay more for a magic item than the normal shop, and so on.

The fighting style in this game is clearly taken from Ryse... Looks like a fun game though!
Have you never played the Arkham games? That's what it's from. Doesn't have any of the meter mechanics or instakills of Ryse.
