Since the first day I played this game I've been through 4 relationships, 1 pandemic, 1 dog, 14 tropical fish, 2 apartments, 2 cars, 3 jobs, 3 consoles and 5 controllers. Skyrim has been my rock.
This right here is something very important to me. I was younger when my father introduced me to Skyrim, maybe 6 or 7, and we had a good relationship then. He was there with me on my first playthrough of the game, and these tracks remind me of the things I felt during those times. The way the controller felt in my hands, the feeling of the old couch in the basement of his girlfriend's parent's house, the cold linoleum floor; everything about it was amazing, and now that I'm almost 18, I still play this game. I've had so many saves, so many characters throughout the years but I'd always drift away from the game. Until now. My love for this game is absolutely unmatched, there's no other games that even come close to Skyrim. These tracks are part of me, and I'm always going to love them, even if my father and I haven't spoken in years. Thank you, hypothetical reader. Please, enjoy the rest of this video with me; Fight, or die well.
I was introduced to it not long after it came out by my uncle I was like 6 or 7 too, was honestly some of the best days being taught about Skyrim and the Fallout games, my life hasn’t exactly been the best but i basically brought myself up on Bethesda titles, the fallout 3-4 soundtracks plus the Skyrim soundtracks have and will always make me feel at peace, I’m 19 now and every so often I’ll put on one of these videos to fall asleep to and I always remember my first playthroughs and how I felt then and all the things I done. I still go back to the games now and play them every so often on PC and I love every minute of it

Pretty sure it was in response to another Skyrim video, but someone made almost the exact same comment you've made which was immediately followed by something like this: "Have you tried psychadelics? Makes every experience feel brand new!"
I know I’m late to the comments! But does anyone else listen to this years and years after? Not even playing Skyrim…. Just taking you back to a simpler time in life.
I remember the first time I played this game. It was a journey into a different world. The smell in the air, the feelings, the atmosphere. Everything fitted together. And now, once in a while, I remember for a split second how it felt. It was true magic
That was how I felt when I played Morrowind the first time. Oblivion and Skyrim felt so mundane by comparison. Normal, vanilla fantasy worlds just can't compare to forests of giant mushrooms and ash storms... I'm glad the Dragonborn expansion brought that back.
for me, skyrim is more then just a game. It brings back memories from when it first came out and how I felt when I played it with my boyfriend (now husband) until 4 AM in the morning. I could fall asleep with this kind of music, it calms me. As does with many other players
Back when i was fully addicted to skyrim, when i would go to work i would literally imagine my character progressing in the game, visiting new locations and progressing the story then would snap back to reality when my shift ended

i really like how you used "Quest Text" for the Skyrim Ambience: Rain introduction...even though this video is gonna mostly be used for its Audio (cant really Watch while im asleep :-P), i do appreciate little immersive details like that :)
I remember looking at the sky and being so amazed at the time that I called my father and showed him how beautiful it was... It really felt as if I was there, being the dragon born... It felt alive and memorable.
Delightfully enchanting. it's something unreachable, something fantastic... I almost wish i could dive right into the world that they created, it's amazing the talent some people have to bring their imagination to life, straight out of thin air into a beautiful work of art.
