Good introduction to this country, one we have not visited, yet! Thank you to Pedro and his runny nose 🤣 for putting in the effort to make such a great vlog, much appreciated, Darren & Sharon
You need to come to Singapore from June 15th to August the 9th. On August the 9th is our independence day. We have fighter jets and fireworks from June 15th to August 9th. It is so beautiful, you love Singapore.
Average 5 days required .Sentosa ,Chinatown , Little India, Kampong Glam, Marina Bay, Gardens By The Bay, Botanic Gardens (inscribed as UNESCO world heritage site), Orchard area, East Coast park , Zoo, night safari, Jurong Bird Park.
Plus: Southern Islands (St. Johns, Lazarus, etc.), Pulau Ubin, the more than 300 parks, Interlace Building, Bicycle Around SG, Sightseeing by riging MDT/LRT. And the best airport in the world, Changi Airport.
@@RitaandPedro There's also a place to rent bicycle at Esplanade near the Merlion Cityscoot and you can cycle all the way to East Coast as paths are all connected
National gallery is just nearby . Good view from cafes upstairs . Breezy and refreshing to walk from city hall mrt (cross road from hotel to padang) to Victoria theatre . Cool angle of the city
What a lovely couple. Walk 30km wow!. Maybe should have taken the bus or trains which connect all these attractions. Hope you have really enjoyed the short stay. Wish to see you again in the Little Red Dot...
Thank you so much for the kind words!! We will definitely be coming back to Singapore, our stay this time was too short! Yes, we know that we could take the bus and the train but we prefer to walk so we can have a better feeling of the city. At the end of the day, we had to give up because we were really tired but if we took the bus every time I think we would have missed a bit of the beautiful scenery that we encountered by walking!😀😊
Can I see Lisbon city in one day? or London, Zurich, New York, ……..I doubt so. Apparently many first time visitors assume it’s a small country so a stopover or one day visit is enough.
Yes, I think everyone can see a city in one day. 😉 It doesn't mean that you can see everything but in one day you can get a feeling of any place you visit that is why we call this type of video first impressions. 😀 We would love to have more time to explore Singapore and will definitely come back because we know that there are a bunch of things that we didn't have time to see. Many people stop only one day in Singapore because the airport is strategically placed when you want to travel Southeast Asia, many connection flights are done in the Changi airport. This was our case, we just extended our stay for a couple of nights so we could have a sneak pick of one of the most impressive and futuristic places in this part of the globe. 😀😊 One day is better than nothing at all! 😉
One of relatives were an embassador to Singapore in the late 60s. I remember him telling us how clean Singapore was. He said you must carry an ash tray if you smoke in public. You must roll all windows up if you smoke in your car. Are they still true today?
It's very different today. Definitely way cleaner than the 60s. Smoking is not allowed indoor and in public transports. Outdoor smoking can only be done in a designated yellow box. Today's Singapore is very different even from the 90s!
Thank you very much for the reminder!!😀😉 We had a great conversation with our taxi driver when we got to Singapore and he explained everything to us about the smoking situation (and a lot more about Singapore) but since neither of us is a smoker we forgot some details about the subject.
Our friend K gave an excellent explanation about the smoking situation! From our experience, Singapore is super clean!! You rarely see trash on the floor. Singapore might have some strict rules but the fact is that they are working wonders for them and people don't seem to mind the fact that the rules are so tight (at least the ones that we interact with). Thank you very much for you comment!😀😊
We have been already to Kuala Lumpur and we loved it!! We will definitely go back to Malaysia to explore the rest of the country!! There are still so many places that we want to visit and didn't had the chance... 😀😉
Thank you for the recommendations!! We really had a short amount of time to explore Singapore so we just wandered around the center 😕 But don't worry we will be back and spend much more time in this beautiful place!! 😊😀
We hope you enjoyed this video, if so please give it a thumbs up and share it with your family and friends 😃 Thank you 🤍

@@RitaandPedro Pulau Ubin is just a small island where you see the old part of Singapore. If you like cycling ok , if not don't need to go.
@@bensgoodeats1493 We love cycling. We sure will check those places out in a future visit to Singapore 😁
