Mitha Dahi Recipe ( Odia ) | Mishti Doi Recipe by Mrunalinee : Mitha dahi ( Mishti Doi / Sweet Curd ) is a fermented Caramelized curd ( Dahi / Doi ) originating from Bangladesh . Which is also a very popular dessert throughout the country in the India states of West-Bengal, Assam, Odisha etc. This creamy Mishti dahi prepared only using 3 basic available ingredients such as Milk, curd and jaggery / Sugar .
Traditionally , it is made with Palm jaggery which gives great. falvour and colour to the sweet curd. But, here I have prepraed this Mitha dahi using Caramelized Sugar with minimum easy steps. It can also be stored in the refrigerator for 5 - 6 days. So, learn how to make Mishti Dahi ( sweet curd / Mitha dahi ) in this video made by Mrunalinee . Ingredients :
1. Milk ( Khira ) - 1 ltr
2. Yogurt ( Curd / Dahi / Doi ) - 250 gm
3. Sugar - 1 cup ( 250 gm or 14 - 15 tbsp ), or add as required ( instead of Sugar, use Palm Jaggery )
