    1. "Against the Gods: A Remarkable Story of Risk" by Peter Bernstein: Dive into the history of risk, exploring its evolution from ancient Babylon to the intellectual curiosity of the Renaissance and beyond
    2. "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds" by Charles Mackay: Uncover tales of speculative bubbles like the Tulip Mania and the South Sea Bubble, revealing the intricacies of human psychology during times of irrational exuberance.
    3. "Stocks for the Long Run" by Jeremy Siegel: Explore the compelling historical data showcasing the potential of stocks to offer higher returns and lower risk over the long haul, presenting a strong case for equity investments.
    4. "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefèvre: Step into the world of legendary trader Jesse Livermore, learning valuable lessons on trading psychology, market sentiments, and risk management from his life experiences.
    5. "How to Make Money in Stocks" by William J. O'Neil: Unveil the CANSLIM method, an amalgamation of seven critical variables guiding investors through quality stock selection, chart reading, and strategic selling
    6. "When Genius Failed" by Roger Lowenstein: Witness the rise and fall of Long-Term Capital Management, shedding light on the perils of excessive leverage and overreliance on mathematical models in the finance world

Your recommendation not just proves your hard work with an eye for detail, which as always you do for equity market or MF, it's further strengthen different pillars of my faith which has made you as my 1st and a leading choice of educator and a guider...

Hello Ashish, I am happy you can see value in the work I do. I read somewhere that what contributed to the success of Buffett, Marks, Greenblatt etc. is the novelty i.e. they weren't oft-used investing methods of their time. But now these have been copied sufficiently that it starts seeping into everyone's way of investing thereby losing some potency. It was an important point because I felt this should be the case with books aswell and its the non-popular books where the next secret is hidden. I try to pick one unusual book every 6 weeks and even if it gives 3,4 thought-provoking ideas, I feel the book has done it's job. Thanks for keeping the faith in my content

Currently reading "All I want to know is where I'm going to die so I'll never go there" by Peter Bevelin. It is about life and investing lessons narrated as a conversation between a wisdom seeker and Warren & Charlie. Some really good takeaways from Charlie which will stay with reader forever. R.I.P Charlie.

Very informative video sir. i already have 'when genius failed' and 'Reminiscence of a stock operator. Definitely buy the remaining books soon.
I recommend that you read Nassim Taleb's books, particularly 'fooled by randomness,' if you haven't read it yet. It provides great insights into randomness, luck, chance, risk, probability, nonlinearities, skewness, asymmetry, and other important concepts about markets and life.

Excellent post again. Against the Gods is one of the finest books I have read in the recent past. Only one book in this list describes how to sell the stocks. But I doubt there are very few books or educational materials on how to exit a business. At least in my case, it is kind of Abhimanyu's state in Mahabharat. I know how to enter Chakravyuha but not get out.

Namaste Shankarji- Basis your experience, please rate these sub-asset classes from ‘risk-reward ratio’ perspective (descending order) I.e.
    1- Land in suburbs
2- mid-size green patch in rural (near proposed highway)
    3- smallcap direct listed equity
4- apartment in any A-city (like Bangalore, Delhi/NCR etc)
    5- mutual funds/small cases
    6- REITs/Invits
    7- Unlisted stocks
    8- Commercial real estate?
