Poor Joe! I had motion sickness as a kid and they kept me doped up on Dramamine. Thats what the adults said anyway. Those Mahi Mahi are the most beautiful color! And delicious pan seared in butter.
Great trip, where out of CR were you fishing and did you get the sense you had an exceptionally good day compared to others? Also what month were you fishing?

I can't find any information or articles that show females turn into males. I have looked into male to female changes & protogynous fish but the Mahi "dolphinfish" aren't listed as doing so. Where did you find this information? I also checked into female spawning seasons & both male/female growth rates without any luck.
