Key Factor - the Sun
We hope not only that people get away from everyday life by participating discount or auction events in the street but also that potential customers have positive thinking about E-MART and their brand through experience a novel QR code created by sun and its shadow in this campaign. The Sun has key factors of the campaign - time, location, and direction - and include positive meanings like happiness, hope and so on.
A Gateway Connecting Analog and Digital
QR code is a kind of a gateway connecting a digital world and a true life via mobile devices. The artwork expands a concept of QR code from digital 2D image which is composed of 0 and 1 to analog 3D figure which has width, height and depth. It makes the code created by the installation unique in other general QR codes and brings the attention of many people. Combinations of black and white pixels are replaced to the depth of the figures in the installed artwork creating shadows with the sunlight.
A Scarcity Value Getting From A Restriction
This installation is composed of 441 pillars (21x21) which have 7 kinds of the height. We set the artwork that a shape of its shadow perfectly forms the QR code around a noon only. With this time limit restricting a chance to participate and a benefit to obtain, we hope to give a scarcity value to participants.
Virtual Property of A Figure
When looking at the artwork from the side, front pillars and rear pillars look connected. We designed the artwork to be shown that it can change the code easily by adjusting the heights of each pillar. This is reflecting digital features of QR code which can be created and consumed with ease. We use transparent structure in order that people think the artwork is floating in the air. Leveling feet installed under the bottom plate enables to adjust an angle of the sculpture as the Sun altitude is changed.

이마트 써니세일 캠페인은 태양의 변화와 그 그림자가 만들어내는 QR Code를 통해 이마트의 잠재적 고객들에게 브랜드의 긍정적인 이미지를 전달하는 동시에 할인이나 경매 참여 등의 특별한 경험을 통해 행복의 메시지를 전달하고자 한다. 이 캠페인의 가장 핵심적인 요소인 태양은 시간과 위치, 방위를 알려주는 지표로써의 역할을 하는 동시에 행복이나 희망등의 긍정적인 의미를 전달한다.
디지털의 아날로그화
모바일 디바이스를 통해 디지털 세계로 연결되는 게이트웨이인 인스톨레이션은 0(White)과 1(Black)으로 구성된 디지털적인 2차원 이미지인 QR Code의 디지털적 속성을 아날로그적인 3차원적인 개념으로 확장함으로써 세상에 존재하는 수많은 QR Code 가운데서도 독보적인 주목성을 지니도록 한다. QR Code가 가지는 검정과 흰색의 디지털적인 구성은 그림자를 생성하기 위한 인스톨레이션 상에서 길이라는 개념으로 변환되어진다,
시간적 특수성의 가치
이 인스톨레이션은 총 7단계의 높이를 가진 441(21x21)쌍의 기둥의 조합을 통해 정오 12시에 이르렀을때에만 완벽한 QR Code를 생성하게 되는데 이러한 시간적 특수성은 이벤트 참여와 그에 따른 혜택에 대한 희소성으로써의 의미와 가치를 전달한다.
형태가 만들어내는 가상적 속성
전면부 기둥은 후면부의 기둥과 서로 반비례 관계를 가지며 돌출되는 모습을 보이는데, 이것은 순간적으로 생성되고 소비되는 QR Code의 디지털적인 속성을 기둥의 위치가 그 높이를 달리하며 변화하는 듯한 아날로그적인 느낌으로 변환한 것이라 할 수 있다. 인스톨레이션을 지지하며 서있는 투명한 구조물은 속도감과 중력을 상쇄하는 속성을 부여하는 동시에, 계절에 따른 태양의 고도 변화에 대처하여 제어가 가능하도록 하는 기능적 역할을 한다.

هذا سوبرماركت له فروع حول كوريا لاحظوا من الساعة ١٢ ل ١ انه مافيه اقبال ابد قام سوو هالفكرة للتسويق بهالوقت يطلع بار كود بالشارع وانت تجي تنسخه بجوالك وتشوف وش فزت فيه ويكون فيه كوبونات هدية وتتوصل لبيتك وغيره وبالنهايه قال ان هذا زاد من مبيعاتهم بشكل كبير وانه بالشهر اللي طبقوا فيه الحركة ارتفع عن الشهر اللي فات بنسبة ٥٨٪ وهذا دليل ان الفكرة قوية وناجحة جدا
