- I was so excited when I returned to my "Dream Field" to collect up more Roman coins. The big question remains: What happened on this field 2000 years ago?

I greeted my husband this morning saying “good morning…I have a new Terra Germania to watch!” He laughed and told me I had better get started! A delight as always.
We understand u :)
haha.. thank you for your support! I'm happy to hear you like my videos :)
One has to wonder what was taking place on this landscape 2000 years ago…. A marketplace? A villa? A fortlet? A workshop area? A rival encampment? Clearly something was happening here! Thank you Hans for another exciting episode. ❤
Hans is so unique!
this is really the question. market place is plausible, too. for a settlement it is lacking shards but who knows. thank you for staying tuned :)
So many lovely finds Hans! Your joy radiates through my screen. Thank you for taking us with you!
Hans is a great guy!
thank you my friend, I'm happy to hear that :)
@@HeavyMetalDetectingPassion thank you my friend :)
Watching a German man speaking in English as I am sitting in an apartment in China. This is life.
haha.. I like that :D
Friday just got better!
thank you for this very kind comment :)
It's always incredible to see what you find and your reactions. Love watching, thank you for sharing.👍❤️
Perfect style and great finds!
I'm happy to hear that my friend :) thank you!
Great finds Hans! Nice to see you back on the fields again. Cheers, from Australia. Congratulations on Nr. 200!
thank you for watching and for the congrats :) I totally forgot what number the video was when i filmed it.. haha.
Thank You Hans, from nearly 1/2 a world away, here in Alaska, USA. IT brings joy each time we find another glimpse into your activities. May God Bless..
wow..where? anchorage? I have been there a couple of times. the 10 hours time difference is killing me each time but nature there is amazingly beautiful! thank you for watching and all the best!
What a wonderful Friday treat! I always greatly enjoy your hunts, your finds are always so interesting.
thank you for your support and for your kind words :)
Constantine II (316 - 340) was Roman emperor from 337 to 340. The son of the emperor Constantine I, he was proclaimed caesar by his father shortly after his birth. He was associated with military victories over the Sarmatians, Alamanni and Goths during his career, for which he was granted a number of victory titles. Constantine II was the enemy of Hans's ancestors (the Alamanni and Goths). He was also the enemy of my ancestors (the Sarmatians).
Love when people are not just digging stuff, but also loving and knowing history... Thank you!
thank you for the interesting details! it is mind blowing what rich history the items have I keep finding on this field.
You’re absolutely correct-the rest of the fragments are always there. Many detectorists in the United States say that one can never find the pieces, but this is false. As long as the field is plowed, they will eventually show. Sometimes it takes years. I’ve dug pieces after over 10 years on the same field. Thank you for another beautiful and calming video.
It took me 5 years to find a missing piece of a celtic bracelet. I kept coming back to the same area and one day I found it. It's absolutely worth the patience :) thank you for watching!
@@TerraGermaniaTG so well said-“worth the patience.” Totally true. Many thanks for the videos!
Metal detecting, great finds, peaceful surroundings, beautiful sunny day - this is what happiness looks like. Watching your videos is always a pleasure. Thank you for making them 🙂
thank you so much :) I'm happy to hear that!
Dream field indeed! The excitement shown on your face says it al! I’m not there with you and I’m just as pleased as you are with you’d finds!
Beautiful!
Thanks for taking us along and documenting it all. I eagerly await your future finds. Be well and take care.
thank you for watching and for your kind words :) all the best to you, too!
Your efforts are truly appreciated. Thank you. At 76 I still detect every week. Your finds are so unique and exciting. Like nothing we ever find in America. I get thrilled finding wheaties, Indian heads and Mercury dimes. These would likely bore you. Ha!
you always have to see the finds you make in context to the history of a country. If you do that the finds you make are amazing! thank you for watching!
You are so thoughtful and kind. Thank you
You must be in seventh heaven with all those finds, what a magical field.
It is overwhelming sometimes. thank you for watching :)
I just find incredible your digging relics from 1400 years prior to my continent Australia being " discovered " just amazing history ❤️
Always so wonderful to search alongside you, thank you :)
Thanks Hans, good to see you again on your dreamfield!
It never gets old for us to watch you and your excitement over these amazing coins. What a thrill!
Thanks Hans, Always a good day when you post a video. Some lovely finds there. All the best. John. (UK).

@@TerraGermaniaTG I am a School bus driver in Baltimore County Maryland. I'm very busy bringing students to school and later back on their homes. I love my job
Wilkommen zurück, Hans. NICE to have you back. Hope to see many more videos
Nice, Hans. I love the historical context of the coins you find.
Perfect!
I believe that Constantine II coin is from 334-335 ad. I was curious and had to look it up. I live in the US and wish we had that kind of history to find. Love your videos!
Isn't it mind blowing? I will never get used to it. thank you for watching and for your kind comment :)
Great to see you out! Watching now brother 💪🍀🤘
What an amazing, incredible, moving, fabulous video! So happy for you, Hans, on this exciting batch of finds. Wonderful video - thank you.
thank you for your kind words about my video :) I'm happy you like it!
I only saw a couple Constantine III coins online and they go from $600-1500. They're definitely rare. Nice find!
"Constantine was a bit over-ambitious though, as his attempt to enter Italy failed. Attacked by his own general Gerontius and eventually the troops of Honorius, he was killed in AD 411."
it's mind blowing if one goes into the history of these items. thank you for your kind comment!
aha he's back
It's really great what you're doing, especially directing videos professionally and fun, regarding Romanian silver coins why they are rare, thank you very much and have a good day.
thank you for appreciating what I do :)

Glad to see another video post!! It's always fun to watch!!
Awesome finds, love the scenery and sunset!
LG,
hans
Thank you Hans. I am again very inspired.
At last my friend, it was worth waiting for and is great to see you are still detecting excellent permissions Hans. Thank you for lovely video and look forward to sharing your next upload. All the best from Somerset UK 👍🏻👍🏻💯🍺
thank you for your patience my friend. I try release a couple more videos this year. It's not easy though 😅 all the best and happy hunting! hans

Thank you Hans, they are always worth waiting for. Do you ever video your work with the archaeologists? I know in some of your earlier videos I remember you searching the spoil heaps of some archeological digs. Anyway my friend happy searching and all the best from Somerset 👏🏻👍🏻✨
@@simonjohnson1585 thank you my friend :) I would love to make more videos on excavations I'm joining but firstly I didn't have the opportunity to join one lately and secondly archaeologists are camera shy most of the times. I hope it will be possible soon again :) all the best and greetings,

Truly a field of dreams! Thank you for taking us with you!
Great video. Nice finds again. Good to see you back on again too.
Amazing way to start the weekend. The field has become magical & the treasures are "begging" to be discovered! I am feeling a "silver thimble" is just over the hill. 😅😅 Happy hunting Hans!!!
hello pamela :) you should see the face of the responsible archaeologist of this area when I bring him the finds...haha... he said years ago that he don't think that I will find that amount of coins for a longer time there. it is an extraordinary site. I hope that I will find you another thimble soon again :) thank you for watching and for your support my friend :)
@@TerraGermaniaTG I bet the archeologists are amazed with the treasures you find. I'm looking forward to your adventure 😊.
Thank you, for preserving history. Best of Luck on your finds ✊️🤙

Very nice hunt Hans, interesting amount of roman coins on your dream field. I've never had the pleasure of finding a roman coin but who knows what the future will bring 🙂 All the best and take care, HH 👍😀👋 Tony

Hi Han's a pleasure as always superb video 😊 regards Steve.
Thank you for another great video, I enjoy them so much.
Well done Hans & what some great finds, I think we all have a favourite field to keep returning to, been digging near a DMV for 33 years (30 with Dad) & it still gives lovely finds year after year, not the same without Dad but still enjoyable.
settlement places are never ending sources of finds especially when there is a lot of iron in the ground that camouflages finds until the plow brings them in a better position for the detector to find them. we can be grateful to have a site like that to detect :) I'm sure your dad still comes along with you every time :)
thank you for watching my friend!
Guten Morgen Hans, danke für Deine Mitnahme in die Geschichte. Einer der besten Kanäle und dazu ehrlich dazu. See you on the field...
