    Micheal Parenti is always right. African Nations and all other so-called "third world" nations are not underdeveloped... They are OVER EXPLOITED. These nations are rich. You don't go resource extracting in poor countries. You extract resources from rich countries and make their people poor.

Hence Thanksgiving with the Native Americans and Africans selling each other in the Transatlantic slave trade. If it's true that African people were routinely looked at with fear by different cultures, I imagine it would be for the same reason that the civilized world were wary of peoples originating from the central Asian steppe: tribes that would occasionally pour out from the edges of civilization to plunder sedentary societies, usually with great success.

    Egypt being in Africa doesn't mean that ancient Egyptians were black or that every single African can claim to be Egyptian.
    China is in Asia yet that doesn't mean that all Asians are connected to the ancient Chinese civilization.
    No one has the right to claim our heritage for any reason, we are Egyptians there's no nationality called African, and there's no programming features for being in one continent, people saying that ancient Egyptians were black just because Egypt is in Africa should try and say the same thing about Asia, what if we say that all Asians are yellow think about it and you will realise how stupid these claims are even European aren't all alike.
    But afrocentric claim that if you are in Africa then you must be black it's not programming feature Egypt is a transcontinental country, the distance between north Egypt and Palestine or Jordan or Lebanon is less than the distance between Egypt and western African countries if there's an earthquake in Cyprus I would feel it and it happens a lot by the way.
    Egyptians are exposed to the same climatic conditions and temperatures as in the countries of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, and we also share the same type of food that grows in similar geographical areas. These are all factors that determine human features. So Of course, we will look close in appearance and skin color tone.

    • @JotaroSantino
      @JotaroSantino 8 місяців тому +1

      I love when imbeciles contradict themselves, "Stone age" and spears are not synonymous; spears are made with a metal tip and a wooden handle, that would require
      1. knowledge of constructing mines to find metal.
      2. Constructing furnaces to actually smelt and mend said metal
      3. making weapons (presumably out of metals) to cut down trees and harvest the wood to make the handle.
      All of which is not a technology of the stone age, unless you're willing to admit the spear wielding Romans used stone age weapons.
      Secondly most Africans weren't naked, it's literally a few remote tribes that were, similarly to the half naked tribes of Europe; and it's more of a testament to their remote-ness that anything else, Several African kingdoms and empires sold and traded textiles with Europe, Asia and the Middle east. You literally see the world through a stereotype fed to you,and you repeat said stereotype as fact, a testament to ur lack of intelligence

I mean I get the point of the video, but historically if you have something you can't defend it becomes a danger for you, because someone will take it from you. It's not that Africans were viewed as a threat. Anyone who had as much resources as them were viewed as a threat. Just look at the Mongolians no one liked them because they were so powerful look at the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians and ETC all of those were viewed as a threat. the only reason why people think its specifically to Africans is because we they had such successful civilizations; we study them a lot so we see the tragedies that happened to them and think "Oh because there were so outsides conflicts that happened to Africans it must mean they were targeted" Which that is a lie history was tough for everyone not just Africans.

  • @thorgeist
    @thorgeist Рік тому +8

    The reason their is no conclusion as to “why” is because Africans were never viewed as a “threat.” They were viewed as a means of exploitation by some, and a means of fiscal trade relation by others. The U.S. began attempting trade relations with Africa within two years of becoming a country. European people did not have an immediate “fear” of Africans, they had a healthy level of respect for the Kingdoms of Africa. Same with the African Kingdoms to the European ones. That is real history.

    The problem for Africa has been harsh geography. It has very little hospitable land outside of the northern coast, the horn, the southern coast, the Sahel, and the Nile river. African states have mostly traded resources and collapsed for one reason or another.
    Few African cultures have done well against invasions, mostly just the Zulu (they were also a bit later) and Ethiopia (Rip Italy, Somalia, and everyone else) really. The African states mostly just traded and fought each other.
