I've journeyed around the world with you more than 2.5 times now, and I can't get enough of your videos. With this latest one, it looks like I'll have a two-year adventure gap while your new boat is built. Guess I'll take my time and go for another virtual circumnavigation! Your videography is top-notch; the drone shots, the sailing insights, the glimpses into life onboard and a delightful couple enjoying life-it’s all captivating. Your editing and storytelling? Simply the best. The way you handle the drone, even in 15-knot+ winds, is impressive, and that footage truly makes your videos stand out. And those chill soundtracks? They wrap everything up perfectly. You've masterfully teased the new boat in recent videos, keeping us on the edge of our seats while holding back the juicy details. No doubt it is a new Outremer xyz. Maybe when things calm down, you could share some greatest hits, sprinkle in a few hints about the new boat, and offer some sailing tips. Looking forward to whatever comes next!
We will have to wait quite long on our Outremer 64 but expect to be sailing a lot on the 52 and or 55 in between so we should be able to keep the videos coming. But not enough content no video, we’re not in it for the quantity and we’re not monetizing
@@CatGreatcircle I absolutely love that you're steering clear of monetization-no magical potions, no "life-changing" products in sight. With the intricate details involved in building a new boat, a new home, and the whirlwind of moving, you’ll have your hands quite full. Still, it would be wonderful if, every few months, you could sprinkle a little update and feed your devoted fans.
From the stern to the front of the pilothouse it's marginally bigger than the 55. But forward of the pilothouse there's a whole lot of boat and the hulls don't appear to be significantly wider than the 55. Can't wait to see what the sailplan is compared to the 55. All that waterline + narrow hulls = fast boat. Give it a sailplan that matches the hull and this has the potential to be a real rocketship. I guess since Gunboat has abandoned the smaller yachts it's not surprising to see Outremer move into this size range and go after their target demographic of ultra high performance cruising cats.
very cool. at 10m32s if you pause the screen. you could see the new outremer 64. congrats folks. looking forward to 2027. hopefully outremer delivers sooner before then.
Magnificent and huge congratulation's to you both, you have achieved so much since the early-on prang when your thought's were very negative. It will take you a lifetime to process it all and explore how it has enabled your growth, both as individual's and as a couple. Speaking of which, you both made me chuckle watching each of your playful dig's during the presentation. Call me stupid, but, I failed to grasp what you have ordered/to receive boatwise for a few years' yet and what your maritime plan's are in between... Fair wind's circumnavigators'...
Congratulations on signing up for the new boat. I watched the film twice and still couldn’t work out which boat you were buying so I read the comments until I discovered the answer! I am sure she will be a quick cat with those long legs! Are you going to sail another cat between now and 2027? Thanks for all the films. I love Mark’s music taste!! Take care. Rob
Yes apologies for manoeuvring a bit carefully as the project is in a VERY early stage but happy to be able to at least share some info Discussing a boat to join the 25 Nordic Rally right now otherwise we might join on other rally boats in the Nordic Rally 24/25 GLYWO 25/26 and maybe even Bahamas in 25
M&M...What a great success with Great Circle, an adventure with on board videos🎥 & Cannes Boat show @ Outremer by your side to keep up the mechanics/sails around the Globe. 😍 🩳🤿⛵
6:53 INSIDE PILOT HOUSE??? that is pretty AWESOME!!! specially if you are gunna be doin the NORTH NORTH stuff!!!!!!! wow..... pretty cool layout!!! ''it's a BOAT'' not a ''hotel room'' that has a driveing station on the balcony ;)
Yes Cure project manager Woody was crew on our boat from La Reunion to Cape Town. A little early to know whether this fairly new project will really get traction but we will follow this as we follow them all
Always nice to see people try something different instead of following the flow. Marijke would love a protected helmet station like that but we were not convinced about the back of the biat
In a catamarn's name, does the number indicate the length of the boat, or is it something else? For instance, XYZ boat 32; does that indicate the boat is 32 feet? Silly question but I was curious :)
We already sold it before we started, we like a new project every now and then. We will probably have the new boat around 3 years as well. With selection, design and build this makes 5 year projects As compensation we’re 27 years together now and our monohull in Holland is from 1979….
Ok, you fooled us. We watched it all and at no point did you state which make and model of the Catamaran you were getting. After all these years I must say that I was surprised that you would clickbate us.
@@CatGreatcircle ...oh, understood. I get it. So it is an Outremer but the exact model is not disclosed yet for marketing reasons. Now we get it. We thought that you guys were clickbatting which would be so weird for you to start doing after all these years. LOL... Any idea when you can reveal the details and specs on the new model? Should be awesome to see!

Hi Mark and Marijke,
Congrats on the new project! Hopefully, you’ll do some video updates on the build.
Thanks again for sharing your adventures.
Of course

great to be alive !!!!

In the presentation is a lot of the Keeling video story, I hope for a revisit 😊

Im still not sure what boat is:)

are they gunna put an internal pilot station for your new one??? :) like that one??
Interesting concept but the balcony is maybe not for on the ocean 😎
Have a look at Cure marine 55 built in Australia
Yes Cure project manager Woody was crew on our boat from La Reunion to Cape Town. A little early to know whether this fairly new project will really get traction but we will follow this as we follow them all
Exciting! Can't wait to see the new boat. Wish I could buy Great Circle. Now, where can I get the book.....?
Still working on improving the second print
How did you like the Windelo forward cockpit? It looks like a great idea but does it really work in everyday conditions?
Always nice to see people try something different instead of following the flow. Marijke would love a protected helmet station like that but we were not convinced about the back of the biat
I watched this but didn't hear what the new cat is
In a catamarn's name, does the number indicate the length of the boat, or is it something else? For instance, XYZ boat 32; does that indicate the boat is 32 feet? Silly question but I was curious :)
Most of the time, sometimes meters and sometimes brands think it makes sense to exaggerate a bit (eg Saona 47 isn’t even 46 foot)
So it’s a new outremer that has not been announced yet and there was a single drawing of it?
There are several renders available but I am still limited to what I am allowed to show you as a very early sneak preview
I did have a rendering of the master cabin on insta earlier
@adamboyd2142 sure, 64 feet
Bye bye GC, can’t wait to meet your bigger sister in 2027 ❤️⛵️
Is there the ISBN for the book? I would love to get it.
Not yet, working on it as we thought is was mainly for friends and (future) rally participants
That rendering looked great. Could you mention the length?
64
@@CatGreatcircle Fantastic. Looking forward to getting all the details.
What is the new boat ? is it a massive teasing of a new outremer ?
It’s an Outremer, 64 feet long, with a decent crew cabin and a very well placed master
@@CatGreatcircle Defenetly a tease then :D are you planning to cover the build of the boat ?
For sure production starts in September
@@CatGreatcircle Do you know when it's getting announced?
@Vondoozy I think it’s not decided yet
👍👍
Mark and Marijke, why are you replacing a boat that is only 3 years old?
