I didn't get the point of not using kickdown... D2/D3 is supposed to be used on downhills or sport driving in winding roads, it's pretty much useless for straight line acceleration .
Ok i love your video but that car is NOT a 1987. Period. It's a 1988. It is a well known fact that the 1986-1987 cars had the much more pronouned "motorhome airconditioner" third brake light on the back of the trunk lid. In 1988 they had gotten so many complaints about the looks of that brake light that they redesigned it and moved it to the end of the truck lid closer to the taillights(as you see in this model). NOW unless the owner paid money to have a different unit installed and resprayed the trunk, that model is or sure a 1986 or 1987.
If this is her car then she can abuse it. If this belongs to another owner, what were you thinking letting someone this ignorant about automatic transmissions get behind the wheel?
