@@oscarlove4394 Be careful what you wish for...it may sound nice in theory, but when your family's heads are on the chopping block, you won't be so flippant about the power the white race has willingly forfeited. The West will probably resemble places like South Africa and Brazil in the future, or even a failed state like Haiti. It will be a miserable living Hell. The living will envy the dead. I hate the Anglophone technocratic globohomogenization empire as much as the next dissident, and I do view the collapse of this empire as inevitable, but I still dread the coming age of barbarism because I have family and I care about my race and, even if I am perfectly content to face my own death, I am terrified by the thought of extinction and the thought of my people (especially my close relatives and friends) having to live through a dark age in which whites are persona non grata and slavery and sectarian violence are the norm. It is no fun being a minority in a place that is filled with people who hold genocidal levels of contempt for you. Hell, it's bad enough being the majority in a place where the minorities have been conditioned to blame you for all their problems, imagine how bad it will be when black and Arab and South Asian people outnumber white people in Europe. I don't know, I'm making assumptions about you, maybe you're non-white and you really would celebrate white people getting beheaded for being infidels or whatever, maybe you are so driven by grievances against the British Empire (which, for all its evils, did essentially abolish slavery around most of the world) that you just want to see the West burn, but based on the general vibe of Art Chad's audience I kinda assumed you're probably a white person that is fed up with the direction Anglos have taken Western civilization in since WWI, and that there isn't a genuine wish to see blood in the streets entailed in your statement. Trouble is, people that have the best intentions often proclaim their humanitarian aims without realizing the disastrous impact their actions would have on such a systematic and sophisticated society. Like, for instance, the frequent refrain from environmentalists that we need to entirely cease the mining, refinement, and burning of fossil fuels immediately if we are going to stave off climate disaster (which is conveniently always looming around the corner, never actually showing itself in any kind of sea level rise or crop failures or dust bowls or whatever, which is what actually happened when the climate actually heated up rapidly for a stint during the 1930s, which is still the hottest decade on record) belies a deep naivete in their understanding of economics and how energy consumption relates to mortality rates and general quality of life. They don't grasp the multitude of ways in which we use fossil fuels, like to produce synthetize fertilizer to feed the billions of people on Earth that would not be able to be fed otherwise, or the fact that an insane number of uses have been developed for plastics that we don't have equally effective replacements for, I mean I don't know about you but I like doctors being able to use disposable syringes rather than using glass ones over and over. Billions would die if the whole world stopped using fossil fuels anytime soon, which would result in a far worse apocalypse than a scenario in which the global average temperature rises by a degree over the next century. I've gone off on a tangent but the underlying principle is the same: when asking for a change as dramatic as attempting fruitlessly to replace fossil fuels with wind and solar overnight (like by 2030, or even by 2050) or hoping for the collapse of the Anglophone globalist empire, one must consider what the ACTUAL result would be, rather than the ideal result they would merely WANT to happen. Things may have to get worse before they can get better, but it is also possible that things will just never get better and the decline is terminal, leading to cultural and racial extinction: going out with a whimper. It is weird to me how I'm cast as an "extremist" and "white supremacist" for caring about that, as if you have to believe your race is superior to be at all concerned about the potential for it to be wiped off the face of the Earth. A lot of people seem to have this deep-seated, irrational notion that white people are so naturally inclined towards a dominant role that the thought of them ever even being in the "oppressed" role rather than the "oppressor" role, even on an individual level, is laughable to them. I think a lot of normies actually harbor a sort of implicit, unspoken white supremacist mentality in the sense that they think white people are so dominant and powerful, we physically cannot go extinct, like it is spoken of as an impossibility. Humanity as a whole can be thought of as fragile enough for normies to believe it could go extinct, even during their lifetimes, but somehow a small subsection of humanity is thought of as so intrinsically powerful and invulnerable that anyone pointing to our low birth rates and using simple math to extrapolate into the future to show that we will dwindle away in a couple centuries tops at this rate is scoffed at and called a neo-Nazi conspiracy theorist. Even if none of us reproduce, somehow there will still be tons of white people in a thousand years. I've never seen a single sci-fi depiction of the future that depicts the West of the future as having anything close to realistic demographics, perhaps with the exception of Blade Runner 2049. The Camp of the Saints was a rather prescient book by a French author about mass immigration leading to whites becoming a minority in Europe and eventually ending up only in small mountain enclaves, far from the metropolises their ancestors built. I think that is a pretty realistic way to imagine the future. I believe the only white people that will survive the next century will be those that choose to group together into autonomous communities in rural areas, building walled and well-defended compounds in places that are hard to access by roads, far from the corrupted cities. They will be called every name in the book for their nonviolent efforts to simply survive in peace, as it will be a common view to believe that whites should not be entitled to owning property since they are "colonizers" and all that crap (but migrants somehow aren't "colonizers", of course, just like how the Arabs are never chastised for their Islamic imperialism and colonialism, and people pretend North Africa and the Middle East always had the demography they have today) and it is already enshrined in law that white people don't have any right to freedom of association. Hmm, wonder if this comment will stay up...

Here in Australia, we're going through a similar situation to the king with the wealthiest person in the country, Gina Rinehart. She had a hideous portrait exhibited in one of our national galleries. Since she is a major sponsor of her state's swimming organisation, she's been getting all of these elite swimmers to sign a petition to remove the portrait. All of these random athletes have been making public statements about how the painting is "deeply offensive" and all that. The funny thing is that the painting was basically unheard of until she started the petition, so there's a Streisand effect where there's only more and more coverage happening of the piece. Just goes to show how even multibillionaires are still as conceited and self-absorbed as we are.

This one is an intentional and official portrait which they endorsed and are somewhat proud of despite public mockery; what you described is the public endorsing a painting that was interpreted to be mocking the subject, and precisely for that reason rather than in spite of that.

This story slightly parallels the Gina Rinehart "portrait" in the National Gallery of Australia. The artist Vincent Namatjira portayed her as he saw her, and many others do too, and she's not happy about it.
She has said some horrible things, especially concerning the indigenous people of Australia and the artist is indigenous and he portrayed her accordingly. She wants it removed and the gallery won't do it despite her having donated a lot to the gallery in the past. C'est la vie.

got here exactly one minute after the video was posted, decided to watch it before commenting, and here i am now, speechless. again.
as a gen xer, i don't simply accept all and any authority as "natural". the xtreme radicalness of 90s saw very well to that, thank you. but, at the same time, i can't deny it's inextricably interwoven in human nature. maybe in all of nature? there's always someone leading any sort of group, however indirectly or informally, and even "irrational" animals understand that following the stronger/wiser is sometimes required for survival against common threats.
so i think the world is ungovernable not because authority is useless per se, but because every. single. "king" and "queen" out there is aggressively naked and we can't (as in, lack the ability to) go on pretending otherwise. the rich and powerful have always used the rest of us to survive, but now they simply refuse to give back anything in return. it's unsustainable... right?
it's 1789 all over again, methinks. the difference is i'm not sure what can replace the old "liberté, fraternité, egalité" motto when such ideas have been thoroughly emptied by the very people that ascended to power after that revolution of the "masses".
life is certainly curious in this post-history period.
oh, and thanks for reminding me (again) not to tap out.

And now everyone is finally waking up and not idolizing the rich, with the current cancellng and boycotting and mass blocking of influencers and stars. It is a reversal of "power" or power dynamic. It is about respect and control and finally taking the reigns and realizing that we have the control and that respect should be earned not just granted.

    • @seantolson6223

The belief that any time period is "post-history" is just 20th century chauvinism at its best. History never ends, and we never stop living in it. It is the story of mankind, and so long as man is in dominion over the earth, he will continue to make history. This civilization will eventually wither away and die, like all the others before it. We are not more virtuous than our ancestors simply because of our existence in the present. The ideals we hold dear, like republicanism or entrepreneurial fortune-seeking, are actually very old.

    • @GuildistGuevara

in other words, the leaders are not leading anymore... they want all the personal benefits of power with none of the responsibilities and directives. they have no vision but the continuation of their own rule, no grand empires to build, or some mortal enemy to defeat.... they have become complicit and soft.... abolish it, and build a new system out of the rubble.

Either this is a different source or someone's analysis, but taking into account the "March of the Gladiator's" origin, the track was once made in image of the arrival of a mighty warrior.
To the common folk, it sounds like proud mockery, thus its composition is used in circus... to poke fun and to represent that the ones in power serve for entertainment. A mocking way, but it depends who this person in power is.
The painting looks like King Charles was in the blood of the actual good people. And then... RIP Queen Elizabeth, the fading style represents her death.

Putting your feet up on Pelosi's desk isn't offensive to her, it's offensive to the desk, and what it represents in the history of the American democratic experiment. That's what most old fools like me saw as disrespect. I don't think there's more than 3 or 4 people in the whole US congress who actually deserves respect, but the building, the institution, the ideas it represents and the job it has to do; these are worth respecting, no matter what group of monkeys happen to occupy those seats at any time.

I think the main problem is that they want to uproot democracy and put up an even more authoritarian regime... the framing of this video is completely wrong, the core of jan 6 wasn't "challenging authority" conservatives have literally been empirically shown to be more authoritarian, qnd I'm guessing there's a big overlap between that demographic and the jan 6 one.

the artist is the only thing linking the isolated wealth-society to the 'masses. finding a message that way sounds so fun.

what annoys me about it isn't even how obviously demonic it is, the honesty is almost refreshing - it's the lack of solidity to the painting, the red swirls seeming to merge with his clothing and to be ethereal, or like a gas. Only his face is solid. The ability to make any genuine representation or grounded communication to the viewer seems missing. And yet, it's simultaneously complicated and overdone. Like a meal that looks like a thrown together casserole yet tastes of a dozen excessively added spices. A lack of confidence, lack of meaning, and compensation therefor. A better painter would have said more with less.

Funny enough this is all the tell tales of a dying decadent empire. We in the West have literally "had it too good for too long." Most of us can't even personally remember the last full scale drafting and all war that our nations had. Vietnam seems like from another age, the modern millennial and zoomer can't comprehend such a notion.
This also shows how the host populas of a society loses ground. Physically and socially. People can't agree with what is roght or wrong , there is no "common sense". No people, no god, not even language.
But when it all comes crumbling down and the barbarian hordes flood over the hills, the people will lnow terror and fear and pain and a collective unifying existential threat that is undeniable. THEN people will look for direction, a leader, power; and truly believe.

I thought Jan 6th was disgusting. Im millennial. People have the right to protest and question. And you should.
But the people who did this love America, but they trash the very symbol of our republic?
I dont like nancy, but i wouldnt disrespect the office she inhabited. The Speaker of the House has been here since the country was founded. It trascends us. Unfortunately the people who are elected rarely respects its weight.

    • @bmetalfish3928

We live in a republic founded by people who overthrew their old government in a violent revolution, all for imposing less than our current ones does. Respect is earned and lost, from their point of view, the republic and it's core values where killed and are being worn as a skin suit by people who openly despise, gaslight, befraud and belittle them. It is proof that enough against ghosts being able to alter the physical world that horrible accidents dont befall them often.

It's a huge country and frankly nobody is obligated to support a dystopian regime, this is what I don't like about this "oh only be rebellious every 50 years or so" as if you didn't have a whole country wide protest with burning buildings and riots beforehand.

    • @christopherramos1540
