A must-add for your bucket list, I absolutely loved this unique safari lodge. It is inspired by the charms of Gujarat villages and bridges the gap between elegant simplicity and modern luxuries with a view of the magnificent teak forest all around.
From the exquisitely designed Kothis (courtyard homes) to spotting Asiatic lions during game drive (Safari) to activities within & around the resort - you’d be left wanting for more! Some of my favourite activities I would recommend:
• Gir Safari for wildlife enthusiasts to spot majestic Asian lions, bird and animals. I even spotted a lion from outside my Kothi outside the lodge fence!
• Authentic Gujarati thali to experience the local cuisine
• Picnic amidst the forest is a wonderful activity to enjoy the sunset along with snacks
• A visit to the Ness is a must, to meet up n’ chat over tea with the local Maldhari tribes
• Reminiscing childhood days with a fun pottery session
• Bonfire night with family or friends under the sky
• Some me-time with an indulgent spa
• Enjoy in the personal pool that’s inspired by Indian step-wells, with a view of the forest
• Just a 2 hour drive (on the way to the airport), explore Uparkot fort & Mahabat Maqbara Place at Junagarh
