Gday Elyce, lovely update on your pregnancy and preparing for birth. I agree with one of your followers that it’s a good idea not to take valuables. It’s an unfortunate reality that things can go missing no matter where you live. I’m sure Jay will be able to take items in and out on his visits as need be. Even your going home items could be brought in the day before as your stay time is unknown atm. Otherwise you seem to have researched very well on things to take. The first couple of days may be a bit emotional, rebalancing hormones, waiting for your milk to come in, general tiredness from the birth. Be kind to yourselves, (including Jay) it’s an adjustment for sure as well as your new baby. Don’t be afraid to ask what and why things are being done so you are informed. Sending you lots of love and best wishes for the coming weeks, you’ll be an amazing parents. ❤
Thanks Mumma Marsh for your advice! That's very helpful and supportive. I'm soaking in all the help so that I can be as prepared as one can be 😁. Not long to go now! Thanks for watching and your comments. I hope you have a lovely week. Take care x
Hi Elyce, not sure if you have thought of labelling your bags in case you are moved around, the staff know who they below to. This could be done on clothing items, baby bag etc… just a thought! Wishing you all the best
Best wishes for the upcoming event ! Unfortunaltely, it is not uncommon in German hospitals that thieves target your valuable items. I would hence strongly advise to refrain from bringing significant amounts of cash, jewelry, watches etc. Even the Kindle might not be the best of ideas. Hopefully, your stay there will be short.
And I'm preparing myself the same as you . Thank you for sharing your experiences. I'm living in germany but I'm from Iran.
Thanks for watching ❤️ I wish you all the best for your pregnancy.
