Dr.Fruchtenbaum has been a mentor to me through his books. He is without a doubt one of the most sound Bible teachers I know of. He is such a blessing and his teaching is so clear. Men are always trying to add something to the Gospel of salvation which puts a yoke back upon them.
Hi I had the privilege of sharing my testimony of salvation with Dr Arnold at Camp Shoshanah in 2011. The moment that I was told that I was a sinner but forgiven through Christ's Death, Burial and ressurection I knew instantly within a Blinking if any eye, that I was saved and heaven bound for eternity. To be convicted of my sinful default nature, but forgiven for eternity by the past finished works of Christs death, burial and resurrection simultaneously is the most beautiful experience one can ever experience. The revelation of truth is definitely a doubled edged sword that pireces the hard Hart at lightning speed. ❤
Amen brother. Can relate. Happened to me, too, in a lightning fast instant when I first understood, first believed the simplicity of the Gospel and the enormity of exactly what Jesus did. All sin for ALL humanity for ALL time paid, in that single act, that sacrifice on the cross by God's own Son and the King of kings. ..John 19:30, Hebrews 10:10-14.
Love Dr. Fruchtenbaum's teachings. I have grown so much in my faith this year using so much of his materials in my study time. So much of today's incorrect teachings could be corrected if people actually looked to the Jewish roots and the Jewish context of the bible. His teaching on methodical bible study is also excellent. Pastor Brandon Holthaus has an audio study where he takes you through Dr. Fruchtenbaum's Footsteps of the Messiah series and also Yeshua on Rock Harbor Church Bakersfield Sermon Audio.
Thank you Dr. Fruchtenbaum for this video! You have lifted up a huge weight from my heart! I was concerned about , whether I was actually saved?! I was tormented this whole time, because of false teachings. I was indeed thinking how to get in touch with another denomination, and go again through the whole process of being babtized in water?! God’s grace toward mankind is so simple: it is to believe in those 3 condtions: - Yeshua has died for our sins. - He was buried - He resurrected the third day. You have answered my prayer! God bless!
Many years ago I went through Evangelism Explosion training to share the gospel. One of the things I learned was to help a person understand what it means to believe. One point is that it is not mental assent. The example given was that demons recognized who Jesus was, and James You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. - James 2:19 I also liked to use Romans 10:9-10 to explain true belief. that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. - Romans 10:9-10 Dr Fruchtenbaum mentioned trust when describing belief, but I guess my training made me wish he said more.
Seems too easy, but if we are you believe the Bible in its entirety and that it is inspired by the the Holy Spirit then who am I to make additions to the gospel? This really opened my eyes to how wrong we are doing things here in our churches and doing the gospel a great disjustice. Lord help us to do it right.
I think the problem is that too many people have added too many things over the years which has muddied the waters and hidden the true gospel. Once you throw away the heresies like it all being about enhancing our life on earth, you are more likely to focus on the main thing, which is the TRUE gospel and the spreading of it tot he glory of the Lord.

So are you saying that we are all saved by grace as long as we believe he is our messiah and we believe he died and resurrected for our sins? Does this mean we do t have to abide by any of the commandments?
Thanks for your question Christine. If you check out some of our podcasts and teaching videos you will find fuller answers, but essentially as believers it is more a case of 'wanting' to obey as opposed to 'having' to obey. If you feel you 'have' to obey the commandments to be saved then the blood of the Messiah is redundant.

If one were saved by not knowing nor believing, then what is the point of evangelism? Also, Apostle Paul answers the question concerning those who have not heard the gospel. They have their conscience, and creation to convict them. This is why the great commission is to take the good news to the ends of the earth, that they might hear, repent and believe.

John, double check you indoctrinated beliefs. "Jehovah" is not the author of scripture. Nor is "Jehovah" the inspiration of the writers of scripture. @@mitchellc4 I agree with a lot of what you are saying here. One thing to consider is this: when Jesus gave the Olivet Discourse, He hadn’t yet instituted the new covenant nor had He died, been buried and resurrected. So, when reading carefully, could the gospel of the kingdom be something different than the gospel of salvation through the final blood sacrifice of Messiah? Indeed, all throughout the Old Testament, a Messianic Kingdom is prophesied. It is described as a literal kingdom, which will be centered in Jerusalem and ruled over by Messiah. It will be characterized by global peace, restoration, long life, near perfection, peace between man and the animal kingdom, and the Jews dwelling permanently and securely in the their land never being afraid of being removed or destroyed again, forever. It’s a very detailed and specific group of promises from God that are unconditional, given through the various covenants He made with Israel. So keep that in mind. God promised all of that to Israel based on His faithfulness, not theirs. So in the gospel accounts, prior to Jesus death, Jesus preaches and teaches that the “kingdom is at hand”. And in that He means all of those things promised to Israel that I just listed. He makes many references to those promises which is how we know what the context of His teaching about the kingdom was. After Israel rejects Him as Messiah He stops saying the kingdom is at hand, and begins describing a postponement of the kingdom. Their rejection would prevent the kingdom offer from being received by that generation, as Jesus repeatedly states. *(think the desert wandering. Because of a lack of faith on the part of the majority, the children of Israel were made to wander the desert until that whole faithless generation had died and a new generation was raised up: 40 years. The new generation entered the promised land through Joshua [Who was a “type”, or illustration, of the person of Yeshua] That whole story is a typological illustration of the final generation of Jews who will inherit the Messianic Kingdom) Now after Jesus had died, been buried and resurrected He gives His disciples the command to go out into all the world and preach the gospel. He doesn’t say “gospel of the Kingdom.” In order to understand what He was saying we have to read Acts. Here in Acts 1 the disciples, who had just spent 40 days with the resurrected Jesus as He taught them about the kingdom, ask Him a telling question, and He gives them a telling answer: “To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God….So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”” Acts 1:3, 6-8 After 40 days of teaching specifically about the kingdom of God, what question did the disciples ask? Did they ask, “Oh Lord, now that you’ve taught us that the kingdom is really the church, what does that mean?” Or, “Now that Israel has lost out on the kingdom, what will it look like?” No. They ask “Will you NOW restore the kingdom to Israel?”. And He answers “It’s not for you to know when that will happen.” And then He tells them to wait for the Holy Spirit, and that they will be His witnesses in Israel and also the whole world. Witnesses of what? That’s what the whole book of acts is about. They never preach the gospel of the kingdom in acts. They preach the gospel of the resurrected Messiah for salvation in acts. It’s a different gospel on the sense that it’s a phase of God’s plan to bring in the kingdom (which is still going to be as it was promised, centered in Israel with the Jews living in a permanently restored land), but in addition to that, the church will be there as well, in our glorified, eternal bodies ruling and reigning over the whole world as representatives of Messiah. Does that make sense?

"For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."
2Pet.1:21
"Searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow."
1Pet.1:11
And there you see the Godhead in scripture, in action.
Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
One God.
@@mattmurdock2868 Such "fullness" does not make Christ the same person as Almighty God is the fact that Paul later speaks of Christ as being "seated at the right hand of God." Another false teaching from Watchtower, not found in scripture.
The Spirit is not the "active force" of God .
The active force of God is "The Word."
By His Word all things were created.
He sent forth His Word., and created all things.
"By the Word of the LORD the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth."
Ps.33:6
"Let all the earth fear the LORD;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast."
Ps.33:6,7
The active force of God is the Word.
Then why more animal sacrifices in New Temple?
Do you mean in the future?
Hello
The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom!
Jesus the Messiah suffered and died, God raised him from the dead and exalted him to his right hand! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! Believers will rule the nations with Jesus!
The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! They will rule the nations!
The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21
Matt 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus said the Father is the only true God!
John 17
3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
Matthew 24 is about the tribulation period. The preaching of the gospel of the kingdom to the ends of the earth is Revelation 7:4-17, 14:1-7.

Hello
Mar 16
15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
Jesus says go into ALL THE WORLD
preach THE GOSPEL to the WHOLE CREATION
Flat out not “to the Jews”
He also said because of the rejection by Israel, it would be taken from them and given to a different nation (international)
Mat 21
43 Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation producing the fruits of it.”
Jesus speaking
Sounds nothing like “it’s only for you Jews forever” basically the opposite
After Jesus was raised from the dead (and he had gone to Israel before his death
He THEN says
GO TO ALL NATIONS
Luke 24
46 and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, 47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem
Jesus said that
All nations
Start with Jerusalem
Mat 28
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”
Jesus says go to all nations
Flat out contradicting “Jews only”
same thing Paul says
Rom 1
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
The gospel is to the Jews FIRST, then the Gentiles
The new generation entered the promised land through Joshua [Who was a “type”, or illustration, of the person of Yeshua] That whole story is a typological illustration of the final generation of Jews who will inherit the Messianic Kingdom)
Now after Jesus had died, been buried and resurrected He gives His disciples the command to go out into all the world and preach the gospel.
He doesn’t say “gospel of the Kingdom.”
In order to understand what He was saying we have to read Acts.
Here in Acts 1 the disciples, who had just spent 40 days with the resurrected Jesus as He taught them about the kingdom, ask Him a telling question, and He gives them a telling answer:
“To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God….So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.””
Acts 1:3, 6-8
After 40 days of teaching specifically about the kingdom of God, what question did the disciples ask?
Did they ask, “Oh Lord, now that you’ve taught us that the kingdom is really the church, what does that mean?” Or, “Now that Israel has lost out on the kingdom, what will it look like?”
No. They ask “Will you NOW restore the kingdom to Israel?”.
And He answers “It’s not for you to know when that will happen.”
And then He tells them to wait for the Holy Spirit, and that they will be His witnesses in Israel and also the whole world.

Hello
There is nothing in scripture about “postponing” and do it later
Jesus tells us that it is taken away from the Jews and given to people(nation) bearing fruit
A flat out contradiction of “it’s only for you Jews so we will try again later”
Mat 21

Jesus speaking
Sounds nothing like “it’s only for you Jews forever” basically the opposite
In Mark after his resurrection, Jesus says to preach the gospel to all creation
Obviously the only gospel he had ever mentioned or preached is what he is referring to
There is only one gospel
The gospel of the kingdom
Jesus said it was for ALL nations then the end
Not ‘for the Jews until Paul’
Mat 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
The disciples preached the gospel of the kingdom after Jesus ascended to heaven
Acts 8
12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
The Book of Acts literally ends with Paul preaching the kingdom
Acts 28
30 For two whole years Paul lived in his own rented place and welcomed everyone who came to him.
31 He continued to preach about the kingdom of God and to teach boldly and freely about the Lord Jesus, the Messiah.
This whole idea of kingdom is only for the Jews and postponing and multiple gospels
That idea did even really exist until 1700/1800
Nobody taught this??
Why?
This became popular with Darby
THEY DO preach the kingdom in Acts

PAUL does
