It's particularly heartening to see young people, the next generation, singing John's songs. It really helps to ease the deep hurt of his recent passing. You two are wonderful together, and harmonize the way that often only family members can. Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing, and keep them coming please.
I'm proud to say that John prime is the only singer that I have ever seen live considering everyone I listen to is already dead and unfortunately now John has joined them. He will always have a place in my heart as the one is saw live
John left us way too early... for the benefit of the farma thugs ! - from France from an 80 y old - and Lyme disease crippled alone living man ! who has been an Americana amateur , but who has talked to Doc and Merle Watson 40 years ago ...and also had a beer with Tom Paxton
Great rendition of Paradise! We play many of John's songs. I was lucky enough to meet John on many occasions in the 70's and 80's. As humble as they come! Miss him!! Love the fiddle on your version. And the harmony
Another BEAUTIFUL job done ladies! Ahem uh...that last "note" by Anissa and both of your reactions had me ROLLING on the floor!!! Love love love you girls and the Band...
You god-gifted ladies deserve better recording equipment. I can only imagine how you'd come through on a proper setup with someone on a sound board mastering your vocals properly, because what you can do in something as simple as this is already wonderful. Thank you for keeping a song I grew up on alive. It's a hard life and music like this is all there is to soften it.
Absolute best cover of this song I ve heard ! I am so sold on John Prime playing it ,I cant usually listen to others versions. You girls, absolutely did it right !!!Cheers
Oh man! I forgot all about this beautiful song! I'm so glad it showed up...and thank you two for taking the time to record and share your wonderful talents!
If Taylor Swift checks out UA-cam, I really hope she’ll see these sisters and consider them to be an opening act for her concert!! It said Taylor struggled to get a record label to listen to her?! Maybe she can give these young women a chance!!
Beautiful Job!! That is tremendous and exquisite music you played and singing. I'll bet you two would be a great Gospel Bluegrass duo. Psalm 96: 1.O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth. 2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. 4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. 6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. 8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. 9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. 10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

Anissa on the left is the oldest sister; the next oldest is Kathleen, on the right. Four really talented and beautiful young women;all four are fiddlers.
This was my best friends favorite song, sadly he was a victim of addiction and fentanyl. I still tell his daughters stories about the good old days before his addiction got the better of him.😢

Play it a 1.5 speed to approach what John intended in pace.
When I was a kid I though the song said “ sorry my son but you’re too late and nasty”😂
