I can't remember the last time a song gave me goosebumps. I can't believe just how incredibly beautiful the chorus is, that contrast between an upbeat, uplifting melody and the crushingly sad lyrics. This is a masterpiece.
I’m also edging on half a century and they have been a part of my every day every play list always forever singing the theme songs to my experiences in life…along with a few other bands I could never stop listening too. 🖖🥳✨🌎💖🥳 ✨🎊

I find the whole album fantastic I can listen to each song and not skip any I have my favorites barbaric being one I was at the live show last night I didn’t want it to end
It is amazing, something that's been missing so badly in the last 20 years, gonna have to buy it, not sure in what format, I don't do cds anymore but I have decks....
I think this was my favourite album from Blur, they managed to keep the same energy throughout the whole ten songs. This is definitely my favourite song out of all the ten songs... I really hope this isn't the last LP released by Blur, I just hope they could go on forever.
I got into Blur through Modern Life is Rubbish and Parklife in the mid 90s. And I've been following everything everyone of them has done since then. So much brilliant music. And they keep producing and producing. Not just Damon (please check The Waeve as well and Dave's solo debut). And while later tracks like "Fool's Day" and "Under the Westway" are some of my absolute favourite Blur songs, I honestly did not think that I could be this enthusiastic about a Blur album again. It's amazing, and it keeps growing and growing on me. How can a band that has existed for 35 years release such a fresh, relevant and brilliant album? Just having bought my first record player, I even had to order the zoetrope vinyl version. I urge everyone to listen to the whole album!
"I have lost, the feeling that I thought I never lose".
The world, our body, etc change as time goes on....so it's normal to have such feelings I guess. But we can choose to have whatever mindset we wish to have in the present/coming days, before we go on to the next life : )

Being there in that crowd really cemented my love of the album. Blur really have achieved something truly special here *wipes tears from eyes*. This year has has been truly special as a Blur fan, feeling the love!
The best track on the Album ❤ Lots of Indie vibes from the 2000s like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys ❤. Maybe a nod to The Killers? But in Albarn version, The best
Which is better - the narcissist or barbaric? its close for me, but leaning towards barbaric. Of course we dont have to choose, they are both amazing, thanks blur.

Read this comment on the video version…. The song is so good it’s worth the same comment twice !!!! 😊
i really love this song
This is barbaric you mean?
It's a good song but goosebumps lmao 🤣 you just said this to get a few likes hah
Goose bumps.. Are you kidding. It's shit
There's something nostalgic about this song even though it's been out for only a few days. Gives summery road trip vibes.
Same with narcissist
It’s because it’s blur
It is the jangly riff
One of the 10 best Blur songs. It’s a song talking to my 46 year old self. Love you, Blur.

This song makes me cry and smile at the same time.
Graham Coxon's guitar work on this song is so beautiful. The bass is also great.
Totally agree… doesn’t over do it but adds so much
it's a johnny marr like riff ;)
Really need a permanent version of this whole show made available! It was soooo good
Only Blur can make the word Barbaric sound as if it was a synonym for great
Easy

No one does happy/sad like blur. Beautiful song
Easily a top 10 Blur song along with The Heights off the new album. Just magic.
Definitely one of the 10 best songs on last album.
I listened to the album whilst trying to fall asleep, "The Heights" was a proud jumpscare.
Don't forget Avalon
Could not agree more. Barbaric and The Heights are two of the top five songs Blur has ever made, Truth

This sounds like the Blur I fell in love with back in the 1990s. Well done, fellas.
Blur’s new album is amazingly good. Superb songwriting
Brilliant joyful sadness. It’s a great song from a great album.
