I was born in 1973. I bought a cassette tape of jingles when I was a teenager and from that, this has become one of the most heartwarming and beloved pieces of music in my brain. I love it. And the person who gave it a thumbs down really needs a hug.
It's still around, you know? At least here in Europe with the original recipe. Let's say I've drunk better, but I wouldn't mind a glass, if I'd get one.
@@RoopeRontu1999 I live in the U.S. so I wish a distribution company would pick it up and distribute it here. Lowenbrau brings me back some pleasant memories of the ‘70s. It’s not the only beer that does that, but it’s one of them
@@HOTTIUSMAXIMUS I can relate, bro. I have the same thing going on with Old Mout Cider. Me and my best friend found it during a trip in London last year, and let's say we both miss it a lot, because it isn't sold here in Finland.
I`ve purchased it on vacation in Phoenix [but a few years back] in a bottled six-pack version...but since i live here in Germany where it originated its always available.
🎼 'Ahh, This "Memory Lane", takes me back to a time when commercials we're fun to sing and some TV 📺 Shows had theme show music, that was better than some of the youngin's music today. TV commercials and theme show songs were either fun to sing (probably due to an earworm) or down right funky; too many to list, but I know you remember those classics! The most recent to make a "Cameo Comeback", is Applebees use of the theme from "Welcome Back Kotter". The song is "Welcome Back", by John Sebastian. . Back when I had to be in or near the house, when the street lights came on. Of course, Summer was fabulous, 'cuz the street lights came on later! . Back when after midnight, Networks ran "The National Anthem", and switched to signals and bars or "snow", for the rest of the night.
WOW!!!!! does this jingle ever bring back memories of the late 70's and the early 80's (before 83/84) ...afternooon weekends and my Dad watching watching either Wide World of Sports on ABC , boxing on CBS or baseball game on NBC and in the fall and winter NFL football
I only came here to hear the great ARTHUR PRYSOCK'S voice. They have revived adn old MILLER BEER commercial (If you've got the time, we've got the beer) and it made me think of the great voices that use to do the beer commercials in the 70's, like Arthur and Lou Rawls.
Man, i remember this Lowenbrau commercial when i was 8 years old back in 1977.i remember sitting there on the couch with my dad watching football or baseball. dad was smoking Kents at the time. i also remember the Spirit of 76 commercial as well.i love that Lowenbrau song.easy life memories as a kid. no worries.
It depends on where you live, I guess. Where I live, Lowenbrau is available at our beer and liquor stores. I've bought it a few times. I really like it. 👍
Miller stopped brewing lowenbrau in 1999. I don't know about the German lowenbrau and if it's available in your area or state? Try looking it up online. Good luck!
I have seen the German blend of lowenbrau in a liquor store years ago. ..but they stopped making the American version years ago....last time I drank a lowenbrau was in 1991. I haven't seen it in the liquor since then....I drank it all throughout the 80s..all the time....all the 80s rock bands drank it.
If anybody figures out a beer similar to Löwenbräu, please let me know! I always mention it at craft beer joints to see if they’ve heard of it but they look at you like you’ve got a third eye.
Always wondered who that was singing the song. Proof yet again nothing ever dies on the Internet....
Even songs written specifically to be advertising jingles were pretty legit back then.
Great commercial. I miss this beer AND those Gallo ads with Vangelis Hymne!!
They sell it in the stores at least in Pennsylvania

Thanks, but the product, the actual beer, was terrible. Brewed in the USA, but tasted nothing like the real thing.
Beautiful and manly! Love it.
Arthur Prysock's disco hit, "When Love Is New" from 1976..
I actually miss Lowenbrau.

This beer has a good taste, not week or sweet but unique and full flavored.

Oh the memories when i was a kid singing this to myself . Lol
I miss the silky smooth voice of Arthur Prysock, even in commercials like this one. Rest in peace, and thanks for posting.

I used to sing this song when I was a kid in the 70's. Bring back theme music
Ha ha you too huh...our brains were TV jingle jukeboxes! Some I got the words wrong.
" Alika goo naybuh Stay foam is there"
Me too! :)
Me too!
Arthur Prysock was actually one of the great voices of jazz. Check out his version of "Ebb Tide" and also "Stella by Starlight"
My God, so great. Thank you. What the hell has happened since then to us, our country, morals, ethics, EVERYTHING?!
EXACTLY! Anybody got a time machine I can take back to 1976?!
You got old
Old English 40’s and gangsta rap…..

It's still around. Let's say to me it was ok, but I've drunk better ones. Still a decent brew.
My father loved Arthur Prysock.
Mine too. He's 93 and still remembers him well! Steve J.
"Let it be lowenbrau". What a voice.

It's NOLAN, not "Dolan" ....

The episode, "The Robbery" (Season 1, episode 18) from _Gimme A Break!_ brought me here. Thank you, Lauri Hendler.

If ever there was beer that could make a comeback and dominate.
Terrific
If this video was horizontally stretched any more it would snap
Is Lowenbrau still imported into the US?
He had the finest deepest beer singing voice I've ever heard😂
A perfect voice for those Commercials! ❤
Speed this song up to 1.75x and it sounds better.
Is there a way to get this music???

Better get those tin ears checked. Rawls was great but this is Prysock.
No sir.... The jingle was sung By Arthur Prysock
Don’t feel a way for decades I thought it was Lou also LOL!
I love that song. It's in my head everyday. Another is the theme from Entertainment Tonight.
I’ll bet that’s Lou Rawls!!!!
