Oh my God! This is so beautiful! I love this song so much and am hearing it for the first time with this beautiful children’s choir for the first time today. Cannot describe how it made me feel. Absolutely stunning!
My mother loved me unconditionally. My father abandoned me when I was young never cared about me, never called me, never acknowledged me, & generally didn't give a damn about me. Somehow I find this song oddly relatable, even though it speaks of a disaster with one's mother, yet my familial dysfunction was in the form of an absent father.
There used to be a recording on UA-cam of this children’s choir singing Mutter but it wasn’t the version of them live it was just a really pristine recording. And now I can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Honestly they should've included children in the original. it perfectly fits the song's theme
