For me and my girlfriend, this song will always be our song. We met 3 years ago, fell head over heels in love but then our paths were separated. In the meantime, she was in a relationship. But all this time, she's never gotten out of my mind and I could never date someone without thinking about her. And then one year ago, suddenly, she contacted me again... Her relationship ended in a way she could never see coming, she was hurt and had a very difficult time. We talked about it, for days, months and got to see each other again. It was like we were never separated. We fell in love again. Then Outnumbered came out and I played that song to her to remind her I'm always there for her. As there were many nights she felt 'outnumbered', it was like the song was written for her. As the time went by, the feelings got bigger and we got in a relationship. We went to his concert in Brussels and that moment was so amazing, all of the songs played felt so relatable, it was magical. Now, today, we're 6 months together and this version comes out... Dermot Kennedy is our favorite artist ever.

This song speaks to my soul, man. It's beautiful to see someone embrace their sensitivity and their feelings so powerfully, especially for a man. We get told to push so much of that down, but here's this beautiful straight Irishman just pouring out his soul. I love it so much.

I fell in love with his music, his voice, his simplicity, not trying so hard with extreme production or anything, yet remaining powerful through his perfect storytelling and his songwriting and how anyone can relate to his songs in a way and move u to the core! I've discovered him more than a year ago and as happy as I am he is getting more and more the recognition he deserves I kinda want him to stay our little secret!
I saw few of his interviews, he is just a normal dude, lowkey and humble, almost shy certain times as if he is out of his world and just wanting to make music that speaks to him and fame doesn't matter at all! I'm from Morocco and i will save every month until i could afford travelling to one of his upcoming shows! I truly hope to get the chance to witness his talent and feel the emotions his songs make me feel live! In this lockdown, I've been listening to all his songs everyday over and over again and i can't get over it not one bit and every time they move me as if i listen to them the first time!

Another brilliant song by Dermot....my skin/soul tingles everytime i listen to his music.
He’s a unique talent. One of the great things I love about him is he is normal. Normal haircut, normal clothes, he doesn’t need to seek attention like many artists. He doesn’t have arrogance or any need to have beef with anyone on social media to bring himself into the limelight. His unbelievable voice and songwriting says it all.
