April 2 bday, Master number 11. Been n a grief pit I couldn't rise from (tragic passing of only child son) for over 6 years.
Everything went to hell inside and out. Now I am coming out of this "dark night" and face the wreckage of neglect. It's daunting but I am hopeful and ready to try to live again, where I couldn't before.

ALL my loved ones died prematurely, starting with daddy age 13. Loss has been a Karmic lesson I have been tasked with learning about on an intimate level. Loss of all types has been pivotal in this life & I must find a healthy meaning.

That's right. I used to be a perforner on stage, mostly in school performances: recitation, declamation, dancing, singing, stage acting, since grade school til teenage years. In retirement, i emerged myself in poetry writing, within 2 years, published my 2.books of poems. However, since last year i took a leave from poetry n focused on my business venture. Lately, i have this desire to write my memoir. Just hope i can find the time to work on it.

Im doing well considering i have a mental disease and addiction issue since the mental disease.
Getting out of addiction again gives me a good feeling.
I want to do more and rather soon than later, but i have my handicap now... even saw an elderly person using his hand to say slow down. But then i get relentless towards myself. At least im aware of it and i am currently just relaxing most of the time.

Interesting, back in 2014 I was dx with Adrenal fatigue syndrome, aka high levels of prolonged stress, I was in the end stage 4 at that time. Stage 5 is death and I was barely hanging on my body had began to shut down....I spent the next 4.5 years climbing out of that, However initially I had insomnia really bad, getting 2-3 hours of sleep because I was wired.....I bought a new bed, new linen/pillow and made other changes,but the sleep was difficult. I could not relax, I tried spa music....
Eventually I came up with my own way to relax myself and that was to consciously look at my body in my mind and start with the feet, I would go....relax the feet, and would imagine them relaxing, then move up the body, relax the legs and visualize them being relaxed, I did this all the way up to the head taking sections at a time, once I got to my head I would start over at the feet. In the beginning it use to take me 7 rounds before I went to sleep but as the weeks/months progressed, it shortened...then 6 rounds, then 5,4,3 on down until about 4 years later I never had to use that again I was asleep after hitting the pillow....
I didnt know this method before, I never studied yoga or meditation, I just knew I had mental control over my body...

Thank you, Paul. Very much resonated with me. I have been ignoring some signs my body has been trying to make me aware of, until last week. I went to my doctor and scheduled my second colonoscopy and endoscopy. I had my first one about 5 yrs. ago, where it showed I had Barrett's Esophagus. I did not choose to take the medicine I was prescribed because of the vast amount of serious side-effects. So, my symptoms feel worse lately that's why I'm having another in a couple weeks. I'm still not going to take the medicine, but will have to come up with another option, if it shows I've gotten worse, maybe surgery. Please pray for me that it is not gone into esophageal cancer. Thank You....
