Grew up here and my family dates back to 1929. Great place to live for families too, so close to everything, walk/bike to Lowry Park!. Don't be too hard on schools! Hillsborough High and Seminole Heights Elementary are fine. Also, many private school choices. Now living near D.C. and miss OSH very much!
That's awesome Bernard. I know the history goes back to that era, but it's amazing connecting with someone whose family dates back that far and grew up here too. Not sure the last time you were here but there are so many investors cashing in on SH today. So many dated houses that are being flipped. AirBnB homes everywhere as well because of it's location and profitability. Would love to hear your thoughts after visiting the area soon to see how much it's changed?

@@burgessteam definitely. And Seminole heights is way nicer anyway. North Hyde and Soho. Tampa rocks. Always something going on and because everything is so close, you can do pretty much everything. I was born and raised in Tampa Bay and just love it here. We're in that perfect area where hurricanes Don't even hit us. Lol.
I met a landlord who has a property in South Seminal Heights, I don't know much about it besides the serial killer dude,and that it's crime rate is pretty bad. If we move here it'll just be for a year.

My brother bought a home in Seminole Heights back in 1980 for $35,000 when interest rates were 13 percent.Times have changed.

Do many rentals pop up in this particular area. We are relocating to Tampa quickly for my work.
