The one bug they didn't sort out when they engineered the excelsior mark II was that teacups are never safe when shields are suddenly required. Use caution when navigating through a meteor shower.
That Excelsior II is strangely tuned. The behavior of its hull holding on so much doesn't really convince me the outcome of that battle was legit, especially when the Enterprise-F came so close to winning both times. So far as I can tell, the Enterprise-F in Bridge Commander was not given Ablative Hull armor, which is also kind of strange. So, to me, those are oversights by the people whom ported both ships into the game.
They have ablative hull armor, but it's not the full ablative armor tech. They use the less advanced "fed ablative armor" mod allows slight bleed through to the ship
@@GreystarSTBC actually that Ablative Armour sometimes allows some bleedthrough to happen, albeit far rarer than the Fed Ablative Armour, if only because the Fed Ablative Armour only considers systems in their subsystem radious to cover, and that may leave a lot of subsystems not covered properly unless you give it a huge radious. Also, the advanced Armour Grey is mentioning basically sets all other systems to max unless something weird happens, so even if bleedthrough happens, many systems will be set to 100% later on unless the armour is at a lower percentage in any way or too many damageing effects happen (nearly) at the same time, so all damage is likely to be reverted the next time something hits, while Fed Ablative Armour ties to revert the damage done by healing the exact amount received by the damaging event, so if something weird happens, the armour might behave a bit strangely, sometimes healing a bit more or less. As for the hull @zoberraz, that model is having some issues; like those on the extra detailed Armored voyager, where something about the model makes the voxelizer get mad and potentially crash the game if a ton of damage is done to certain model areas - like what probably happened when combining a change in scenarios due to warp and the explosion of the ship when certain pylon areas were already damaged. The modding community (but mostly GreyDaGreg, as they are the expert with the model on this case), are working hard to fix the issue.
😨Crikey.. that was hmm unexpected.. wow.. The Mark II was built for battle.. oufff.. one thing the designers did again, fly away nacelles . hmm. but Loved you could warp but ended up blowing up while doing so.. ouch... yes I felt that.. just saying... Still well done Captain.. I did not know for Frontier Day had 16 hmmm funny not one ship used quantums.. I am surprised and also well done to the MK2 version , Star Fleet always needs more powerful ships, never know.. again love the Battle Captain.. !😊🖖
ARE U KIDDING ME the ignited the stream and u can go to warp dam!!!!!!! Game surprises u at time i didnt know it could so coool! ty for the video and LLAP!
How the hell could you warp with one nacelle missing? LOL I too said "ooooo" when the Enterprise-F blew off one of the Excelsior's nacelles. Definitely have to give that to the Excelsior Mark II. That was a nice fight though.
the hull is not regenerating, it's how all the armours are coded in-game - due to how the game does not allow mods to directly intercept the damage dealt before striking, the only way for the armour to work is by reversing the damage done by an specific attack, totally or partially. Sometimes the code or other shenanigans, like RAM usage, may slow the calculations enough to make this visible to the naked eye, amking it feel liket he hull healed extremely fast.
It's actually the Excelsior II Class, kind of like the Constitution II Class. Now there's a Constitution III Class. USS Titan A is now USS Enterprise NCC-1701-G (formerly NCC-80102-A) It's a Constitution III Class, as of the year 2402.
That's strange, the hull is not supposed to regenerate like that. Then again the armor that I used on it doesn't quite work on my install. They should be about evenly matched as the enterprise-f is a flagship, but the excelsior II is twenty years more advanced
it's an issue with all the armours - due to how the damage taken works in the app, all armours must work by, one one way or another, reverting the damage - sometimes they keep an specific stat table so those high-abstract values really behave that way, but the low-end values and calculations still do the "heal that system". All of this and other shenanigans make it so it takes their time to reverse the damage, sometimes it is slow enough that instead of seeing the hull or subsystem integrity hold or get reduced damage, we instead see the hull "suddenly healing" the damage.
Unless the Exl 2 is newer which is hard to tell as it’s made to look like well a excelsior class is more advanced , If it’s not then it’s overpowered *Odyssey class SERVICE PERIOD 2380s - 2550s* & *Excelsior 2 class SERVICE PERIOD 2400s - 2410s* A rough search but these mods ofc depend on what stats the. Vessels have been given a continuous stat rebalancing would be needed across all vessels existing & new additions so a lot of work

They actually sorted it out on the refit with *non-gravitational field ablative Armored Tea Cups*

That Mark 2 is such a pretty looking ship
I swear the Excelsior II has shield penetrating photons.
Nice Showcase!
Can't wait for this to be released!
Wow the NPC 1701-F can unleash SOOOOO MANY quantums. It's like a freight train of blue.

No one says you HAVE to take all those quantums on your forward shield. At least try to avoid those where possible--whether in the Excelsior or F.
A better question would be, where can one find the newer mods? Particularly those form Picard S2-3?

That was a really really amazing video Going 2 warp and not being able 2 come out of warp imagine where U would end up
The Excelsior Type II seems a bit invincible. Regenerating hulls I have a mixed opinion on.

An endearing design....."UP IT'S SHAFT!"
I was trying to get to your website but it says that it’s not available and I was wondering what happened to it
That was not what I was expecting
beautiful 😍🤩 where can i get these?
Wait was this the enterprise f with ablative armor cause thats not right if so that ship should have held on longer and smashed that thing
Good fight I thought the F had that on round 2

@@alexslgato1735 believe it or not, the fed armor dosnt work on my install. It just acts as a hull property
@@GreystarSTBC if it doesn't work, move a copy of it to scripts/Custom/Techs that should do the trick
Enterprise-F was launched 2386, the Excelsior mk II is closer to 2400.
The Excelsior was destroyed during frontier day, the crew overtook the Borg before their ship was hacked and targeted by the fleet
Where do we get the new Mods?
That is why you got two them .
I'd take the Enterprise F over the Excelsior II anyday. She's a beauty.
2:31 Mein Führer! I can warp! 😆
This just proves that the Excelsior MK2 should have been the Enterprise G and let the Titan-A enjoy her own legacy.
Rematch!
Boom vs Connie refit refit
Redistribute that one nacelle.
Warping with most of engineering missing and half a warp engine 😂
