Regarding the Dyatlov Pass tongue thing, I remember reading that the 'ripped out' part was a very bad misinterpretation. The tongue was missing but that is actually a common outcome from decomposition of bodies in the environment that that body was found in. It has something to do with the snow melt promoting rapid decay of the softest tissues such as eyes and tongues.

About 8 or 10 years ago I was with my friend sitting on chairs on the side of his house. (we live in the suburbs) I’ve always had a fascination with space and the stars and actively avoid using my phone in social situations. (unlike my friend who could not get his eyes or FB) Plus I find it rude, point is I was randomly looking up at the currently viewable constellations and noticed an extremely bright star that seemed out of place, as I was sitting facing south, and it was nighttime so it was obviously not the “North Star.” I stared at it for a about 5 minutes noticing that it appeared to be moving slowly on direction at an angle and then would completely go into reverse. I was dumbfounded, so much so I did not think to record it with my iPhone I was literally ‘starstruck’ This “light” did about 4 moves forward what seemed from my point of view a few miles every time (no blinking lights thus ruling out a plane or helicopter) and I was convinced it was a space ship after it moved from going completely straightforward and made a complete 20 or 30 degree angle turn. At that point I released what I was looking at, not a plane or helicopter or a blimp or a military jet/secret project, this was a full blown UFO. After it began moving in, inhuman like, movements I mean the G forces alone would probably turn a human into jelly, I tap my friend and ask him “Bro am I trippin or is that shit moving?” His response was simple “What the fuck” and then proceed to return to looking down at Facebook like a pleb. I guess we’re all made differently in some way..his name is Jesus is what makes it kind of funny. Anyway, moving on from his stupidity I continued to stare at this ship having confirmed its was no solar object with the app Space View, I stared as it continued making movements that seemed, best put as, organic. Not turning, but completely changing its direction as mentioned before at degrees impossible with even the most advanced aircraft *We Know Of* Total it was all in all about 10 minutes of awe before this light, at the time moving northeast-ish rapidly and immediately changed direction again but this time extremely faster and it seemed to be making “jumps” in an imperfect star type shape almost like and ‘X’ I think maybe 7 times, so imagine it going from moving average speed to what seemed like “jump points” before hitting the middle of its points and disappearing as if it jumped into, and I know this is laughable, but best described as “hyper space” as if finally done and leaving Earth. Yetis are real.. Kinda. Bears tend to look rather strange when they stand on 2 legs instead of 4 but they are real. Note that all Yeti, bigfoot and similar myths are from places with bears. In the Yetis case, some claim it is a unknown species of bear even though no good evidence for that exists and DNA testing so far besides a single rather suspicious test (who claimed it was closely related to polar bears but it generally considered a hoax) points at Asian brown bears. So I would say the yeti is 90% a regular brown bear, 9.9999% a so far unknown species of bear and 0.0001% other. An unknown bear species is not impossible in such a remote area even if it is a bit unlikely, we do find new animals now and then and if someone found the bones from one they would just assume it was a brown bear. Some kind of unknown primate though who doesn't show up in the fossil record is extremely unlikely. But a lot of people including Sir Edmund Hillary have seen yetis and I don't think all of them imagined it, they did see something real, just not exactly what they thought it was. And our old friend Occam's razor helps us as usual: A bear or a surviving Denisova human clad in furs, which is likeliest? Of course there is the microscopic chance they yeti isn't a bear but until someone can find at least DNA evidence, a corpse or a captured animal it isn't really worth considering. When all evidence points to something it is likely true.
The more reasonable answer is usually the right answer bears don’t normally walk upright for any distance but people who are startled or scared will often remember things differently
Anthologists are pretty sure same with werewolves. Wolves stand on they're back feet and scratch trees to mark them and it's thought that sightings of "standing wolves" is the origin. I think people today and even years ago, if they were in city's and towns, didn't see em all the time and we tend to think of them as dog sized... On two feet propped up against a tree a full grown wolf could appear to be over 6ft(180cm?) tall. I remember hearing about the Vantablack paint and considered that would be great for a practical joke. The idea I came up with was to set up Monoliths around my home town one night made of wood with Cement filing (to make them hard to move) and painted in that other worldly color that absorbs all light. The reason at the time to not do it was the cost, later it became the records of who bought Vantablack in my state/county/city would lead back to me.

The first time I've heard of the Dyatlov Pass incident the mention of the missing tongue and eyes sounded very creep. Years later finally a content creator dove deep enough on the facts and unearthed the reports on the case. The women whose tongue and eyes were missing was found face first on some sort of a little creek. The water could easily made the softer tissue decompose faster. Nothing supernatural right there.

The Dyatlov Pass is one of those things that I feel like get blown completely out of proportion. The only question is why they left the tent and everything else is totally explainable. The tongue is OBVIOUSLY animals (I'm so glad you said it because nobody else seems to, ever, even though tongues and eyes are WELL KNOWN to be some of the first parts to get eaten). They were wearing each other's clothes because they were cold, and the dead people didn't need clothes anymore. The crushing injuries are explained by a shelter made of packed snow collapsing on the survivors. Etc. I've also heard at least two theories for the radiation: that one of them was studying nuclear physics (clearly, anyone doing that in the USSR could never, ever get radiation on random clothes; the USSR is well-known for its safety record) and that the lamps used on trips like that often contained radioactive material. The best discussion of it is from Bedtime Stories, especially their third episode on it ua-cam.com/video/3NsAVMd8Hek/v-deo.html, which is the only one I've heard that talks about a windstorm hypothesis. That's the only non-conspiracy version that explains the tiny scratches all over the hikers (leaves and twigs getting whipped against them in the violent winds). Though the avalanche theory is much better at explaining them leaving without shoes. And they found it out by studying simulations made for Frozen, so how could I deny its accuracy? ALSO, you actually mentioned that the obelisk was removed! Everyone else describes it as "disappeared" even though there were literally official witnesses to its removal. I listen to so many ghost and conspiracy and unsolved mystery channels, and it's fun, but it's also nice to occasionally take a break with someone who doesn't believe in bullshit and is totally willing to say so.

Ever since seeing Lemmino's video breaking down Dylatov Pass I've never been able to take any video mentioning it seriously. Like even this video gets things wrong about it like the "tongue ripped out". The autopsy report, which Lemmino sites in his video, mentions a small bit of the tongue is missing and the tip was possibly bitten off when she fell. The damaged bodies were also found at the bottom of a drop off (like 10 or 15 feet?) which they likely just feel off of while stumbling around in the dark, cold, snowy night. The radiation was also on the clothing of two members of the group who worked at a facility that handed radioactive materials, not much mystery there. and leaves out the detail that also in their tent was a home made camping stove with a chimney that poked out of the side of the tent so they could use it without going outside. We dont need freak avalanches or anything weird to explain what might have happened when the site involved booze bottles, a home made cooking stove, a tent cut open from the inside and then just left behind, people who seem to have wandered off a drop in the dead of night, and some people who froze to death around a small fire pit. Something not fully put out in the oven probably smoked, they panicked, cut the tent to escape which rendered it useless, possibly never realized there wasn't a real fire, and then died of exposure

Regarding the Dyatlov Pass tongue thing, I remember reading that the 'ripped out' part was a very bad misinterpretation. The tongue was missing but that is actually a common outcome from decomposition of bodies in the environment that that body was found in. It has something to do with the snow melt promoting rapid decay of the softest tissues such as eyes and tongues.

About 8 or 10 years ago I was with my friend sitting on chairs on the side of his house. (we live in the suburbs)
I’ve always had a fascination with space and the stars and actively avoid using my phone in social situations. (unlike my friend who could not get his eyes or FB)
Plus I find it rude, point is I was randomly looking up at the currently viewable constellations and noticed an extremely bright star that seemed out of place, as I was sitting facing south, and it was nighttime so it was obviously not the “North Star.”
I stared at it for a about 5 minutes noticing that it appeared to be moving slowly on direction at an angle and then would completely go into reverse. I was dumbfounded, so much so I did not think to record it with my iPhone I was literally ‘starstruck’
This “light” did about 4 moves forward what seemed from my point of view a few miles every time (no blinking lights thus ruling out a plane or helicopter) and I was convinced it was a space ship after it moved from going completely straightforward and made a complete 20 or 30 degree angle turn. At that point I released what I was looking at, not a plane or helicopter or a blimp or a military jet/secret project, this was a full blown UFO.
After it began moving in, inhuman like, movements I mean the G forces alone would probably turn a human into jelly, I tap my friend and ask him “Bro am I trippin or is that shit moving?” His response was simple “What the fuck” and then proceed to return to looking down at Facebook like a pleb. I guess we’re all made differently in some way..his name is Jesus is what makes it kind of funny.
Anyway, moving on from his stupidity I continued to stare at this ship having confirmed its was no solar object with the app Space View, I stared as it continued making movements that seemed, best put as, organic.

Total it was all in all about 10 minutes of awe before this light, at the time moving northeast-ish rapidly and immediately changed direction again but this time extremely faster and it seemed to be making “jumps” in an imperfect star type shape almost like and ‘X’ I think maybe 7 times, so imagine it going from moving average speed to what seemed like “jump points” before hitting the middle of its points and disappearing as if it jumped into, and I know this is laughable, but best described as “hyper space” as if finally done and leaving Earth.
Jesus remembers seeing it, he didn’t inspect it nearly as much as I did, but he can vouch for witnessing this “light” making impossible angle directional changes, I can’t even call it a turn like we turn here on Earth.

I have the physical copies he photocopied during his 50+ years of constitutional research, before his Ph.D I’m assuming, either way after the “Roswell, New Mexico Incident” the United States made it legal for itself to and it’s constituents to withhold information from the American people for ‘National Security’ via the “National Security Law” pass just months after Roswell.

Bears tend to look rather strange when they stand on 2 legs instead of 4 but they are real. Note that all Yeti, bigfoot and similar myths are from places with bears. In the Yetis case, some claim it is a unknown species of bear even though no good evidence for that exists and DNA testing so far besides a single rather suspicious test (who claimed it was closely related to polar bears but it generally considered a hoax) points at Asian brown bears.
So I would say the yeti is 90% a regular brown bear, 9.9999% a so far unknown species of bear and 0.0001% other. An unknown bear species is not impossible in such a remote area even if it is a bit unlikely, we do find new animals now and then and if someone found the bones from one they would just assume it was a brown bear. Some kind of unknown primate though who doesn't show up in the fossil record is extremely unlikely.
But a lot of people including Sir Edmund Hillary have seen yetis and I don't think all of them imagined it, they did see something real, just not exactly what they thought it was. And our old friend Occam's razor helps us as usual: A bear or a surviving Denisova human clad in furs, which is likeliest?
Of course there is the microscopic chance they yeti isn't a bear but until someone can find at least DNA evidence, a corpse or a captured animal it isn't really worth considering. When all evidence points to something it is likely true.
The more reasonable answer is usually the right answer bears don’t normally walk upright for any distance but people who are startled or scared will often remember things differently

Anthologists are pretty sure same with werewolves. Wolves stand on they're back feet and scratch trees to mark them and it's thought that sightings of "standing wolves" is the origin. I think people today and even years ago, if they were in city's and towns, didn't see em all the time and we tend to think of them as dog sized... On two feet propped up against a tree a full grown wolf could appear to be over 6ft(180cm?) tall. I remember hearing about the Vantablack paint and considered that would be great for a practical joke. The idea I came up with was to set up Monoliths around my home town one night made of wood with Cement filing (to make them hard to move) and painted in that other worldly color that absorbs all light. The reason at the time to not do it was the cost, later it became the records of who bought Vantablack in my state/county/city would lead back to me.

The first time I've heard of the Dyatlov Pass incident the mention of the missing tongue and eyes sounded very creep. Years later finally a content creator dove deep enough on the facts and unearthed the reports on the case. The women whose tongue and eyes were missing was found face first on some sort of a little creek. The water could easily made the softer tissue decompose faster. Nothing supernatural right there.

The Dyatlov Pass is one of those things that I feel like get blown completely out of proportion. The only question is why they left the tent and everything else is totally explainable. The tongue is OBVIOUSLY animals (I'm so glad you said it because nobody else seems to, ever, even though tongues and eyes are WELL KNOWN to be some of the first parts to get eaten). They were wearing each other's clothes because they were cold, and the dead people didn't need clothes anymore. The crushing injuries are explained by a shelter made of packed snow collapsing on the survivors. Etc. I've also heard at least two theories for the radiation: that one of them was studying nuclear physics (clearly, anyone doing that in the USSR could never, ever get radiation on random clothes; the USSR is well-known for its safety record) and that the lamps used on trips like that often contained radioactive material.
The best discussion of it is from Bedtime Stories, especially their third episode on it ua-cam.com/video/3NsAVMd8Hek/v-deo.html, which is the only one I've heard that talks about a windstorm hypothesis. That's the only non-conspiracy version that explains the tiny scratches all over the hikers (leaves and twigs getting whipped against them in the violent winds). Though the avalanche theory is much better at explaining them leaving without shoes. And they found it out by studying simulations made for Frozen, so how could I deny its accuracy?
ALSO, you actually mentioned that the obelisk was removed! Everyone else describes it as "disappeared" even though there were literally official witnesses to its removal.
I listen to so many ghost and conspiracy and unsolved mystery channels, and it's fun, but it's also nice to occasionally take a break with someone who doesn't believe in bullshit and is totally willing to say so.

Ever since seeing Lemmino's video breaking down Dylatov Pass I've never been able to take any video mentioning it seriously. Like even this video gets things wrong about it like the "tongue ripped out". The autopsy report, which Lemmino sites in his video, mentions a small bit of the tongue is missing and the tip was possibly bitten off when she fell. The damaged bodies were also found at the bottom of a drop off (like 10 or 15 feet?) which they likely just feel off of while stumbling around in the dark, cold, snowy night. The radiation was also on the clothing of two members of the group who worked at a facility that handed radioactive materials, not much mystery there. and leaves out the detail that also in their tent was a home made camping stove with a chimney that poked out of the side of the tent so they could use it without going outside.
We dont need freak avalanches or anything weird to explain what might have happened when the site involved booze bottles, a home made cooking stove, a tent cut open from the inside and then just left behind, people who seem to have wandered off a drop in the dead of night, and some people who froze to death around a small fire pit. Something not fully put out in the oven probably smoked, they panicked, cut the tent to escape which rendered it useless, possibly never realized there wasn't a real fire, and then died of exposure
