Automatically Fulfil Digital Products Without Delivering a File on Shopify [Quick & Easy]

Want to automatically fulfil digital products on Shopify orders without delivering a file? You've come to the right place. I wanted to walk you through on how to set this up easily.
The way it works is that we will use the Fileflare Digital Downloads app to create the fulfilment in Shopify. We will upload a blank file to inform Shopify that we want to fulfil this product. We will then enable the customer account downloads, but we won't add the manual snippets to the code to complete the setup, meaning that they won't receive the blank file, but the app will trigger the fulfilment.

Why would you want to fulfil an order without sending the customer the actual digital download they bought? I'm confused....

You would be surprised; it's very common. One of the main reasons is when users are selling subscription products that are digital. They don't need to deliver anything, but want the subscription to be auto-fulfilled :)
