Tried this and it is delicious! I used 2 pods of iL cafe, 4oz of Oat Yeah (frothing creamer) + 1 tbsp of Hershey's lite chocolate syrup with ice. Yummmmmm!
I loooooove it! So glad it's a permanent now. Even with it as strong as it is, I love it with just a touch of simple simple and milk. And yes, so good iced!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!
Totally agree with your findings, defo 2021 version is thinner on taste and not so much body as 2020. Big difference in price though, in the U.K. 2020 was £5 per sleeve but 2021 is now £3.90 per sleeve. Even if you allow for the plain box that’s a big difference. Excellent review 👏🇬🇧
I've just spent £91 on capsules today. I love my coffee. I used to work for Nespresso and I would have got them much cheaper and got 50 free every month.
Oh man would that be nice. The only consolation prize I get is I can write off the coffee against what I make here. But man 50 free a month would be awesome.
Always thought this one would be good, as sounded good. Got 30 pods of it on the way - would have been here barring driver shortages. Brought as an espresso primarily, but may try your suggestion. Great review, as always 👏.

Am I the only one that finds the new one different??? It’s a lot more bitter and kind of a bit woody. The 2020 il cafe also smelled sooo much better … like I was in an Italian coffee shop
It was the prettiest capsule for the best coffee. Most shots make the new one look unappealing. If this is a new long term coffee, I think they were going for a beautiful color like Darkan capsules. I can’t wait to do the side by side myself. I’ve been rationing my Il Cafe.

The 2020 capsule looks like the packaging of the chocolate frogs from Harry Potter haha - would have loved for them to continue that

Yeah there is definitely a difference but I don’t think it’s bad just a lighter shot.
