Thank you for the gifts of music you left for all the world. Don't think we don't feel the massive spiritual imprint you left on the Wall. Fantastic song. My all time favorite but there are so many good ones, I feel bad even naming a favorite. There all so good. But the Wall? You nailed it. Song for America? Love it.
This is wild to reminisce. I graduated from Washburn Rural high school in '71. I remember seeing White Clover play at the Jayhawk hotel. I'll be going to see Kansas play in Nashville this Friday.
Kansas all the pieces came together to make rock legends with carry on wayward son as their anthem being played in heavy rotation at every FM radio station coast to coast
They quickly became my favorite band...we played Sweet Child of Innocence and Carry On w the vocals surely lacking..I mean C;mon..how do you match Steve Walsh...
Love this band. They'd be nowhere without Kerry's monster song writing.

They had so much talent.
I saw White Clover in Garden City Ks. At The Ale House. Best bar band ever. Supposed last gig as White Clover. In 73
I had no idea that Kerry had only started playing keys so close before the first Kansas album.
Man did he learn fast!

Saw you guys in Latimer, Kansas in 1974.
So cool.
I love that Kerry wears his old haircut as a moustache
Anyone know if that first gig Kerry has on tape was put up online?
