Very few people can take one of my favorite songs and make it their own and I end up liking it just as much. She has been one of those people to demonstrate that she was a gem from the start of her Rapping career. Keep doing it girl, I watched you grow up and I am proud.

Boy when she sings, she really sings. This song is so damn hot! Why the hell she ever bothered with rap I will never know. And she's one hell of an actress to boot. I almost forgot her real name trying to find the good stuff.

This song was first done by Cory Daye the lead singer for a 1970's band Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band. Latifah hasn't even made any changes but is using the same style. The original is still the greatest this is okay.

I suspect few are aware this song was originally done by Dr Buzzard's Original Savannah Band.....most of their albums are out of print and not available on CD. If you can find them, pay ANY price.
