Hey Jim - Wickliffe is an eastern suburb of Cleveland that sees a lot of daily rail traffic as the CSX and NS mainlines pass right through. Just to the west, in Collinwood, is a former Conrail yard that CSX now owns. My cousin's HVAC business is in Wickliffe and you can see their logo on our backdrop behind the township buildings.
@@TheLEMRR Very interesting history on local railroading. We still have some other than Amtrak here in Maine. My layout is themed in Winter...1950's or prior with diecast that's available on the market. I've been thinking of calling it the White Mountains Pass RR with the Presidential Mountain Range nearby. However for the time being my wife Cathy says if I want to purchase more rolling stock...I'd better call it Catherine County. 😆😆 I figure it's easier than trying to camouflage or hide items as there purchased. 👍
Great update, exciting to see the progress with the buildings. Did y’all used to have a location or layout at Tutltle Mall? I was in Columbus this week for a project and googled Lionel Model train shops near me and y’all’s railroad came up. I took a long shot and drove over there and walked the mall but didn’t see anything.
I live near Tuttle, Jeff. Was considering a retail store, but it hasn't come to fruition. Had to put in an address to start a Google business page, so I used the generic mall address to activate it. I didn't think anyone would ever actually see that online, lol.
